Lawn mower circuits - KB/DB snatches, snatch/pushpress combo, snatch/press combo, ring pullups, 4way neck, couple shotputs (lawn not ready for this yet - lol), some basketball - enjoying the rare sun

30 mins of treading water (no rest)

7 x 2 min boxing rounds w/a buddy (30 sec rest between rounds)

Tired and a bit of a "worn out" soreness. I've been swimming a lot lately and need to take some time off. Doing a light trail run with a friend tomorrow - think I'll leave it at that.

Tweeked the shoulder last week - had a doc visit the other day - did some tests and got a cortisone shot which revealed nothing but swelling, so I was pretty stoked about that. Its been hard just to lay off a few days. I guess the lesson here for me is I need to be more structured about what and how much working out I do.

1:22:48 on the mtn bike

I'm really not too sure where I'm at bodyfat wise as I'm still in the 250-260 range. I'm dialing in my diet a bit for the next month or so to see where I'm at. Heres a recent photo from the Dog Mtn hike

275 pullups & chins (spaced out over a few hours - GTG style).

Uh, that's a lot of pull ups and chins, spaced out or not! How many we talking at once, in general?

First few were sets of ten, few at 7-8 then rest were 5's. I've been doing a lot of vertical pulling and need to adjust the way I'm doing as I'd like to get back into the 15-20 range again. All I've accomplished so far is the ability to do loads of volume at 5's.

300y lagoon swim at work then 40 mins of 100m intervals at the pool

No, I built myself a super heavy duty, adjustable, free standing pullup station that has a set of v-bars on it (custom built for my shoulder width), so I vary the hand positions ea set.

05/14/11

40 mins of swimming

05/16/11

35 mins of swimming, neck work and basketball
