1 hr on the bike before work.

200 yard swim towing a drift boat sock followed by hard rowing in the drift boat (also towing and pushing drift boat socks)

Rowing (push & pull strokes) a drift boat while towing socks is, by far, the most intense upper body and core workout I've ever done.

Lots of pullups. Had a pullup competition at work today - as many dead hangs as you can do in 1 min - rest as much as you want. Cody (21 year old, 150lb wrestler vs. Morgan 41 year old, 250lb fat guy).

Cody - 17 Morgan - 16.

How'd you all fare?

The website I found this on said 25 is damn good and 30 is top percent.

18 mile bike ride - nice mello ride - 1 hr 30 min range

09/01/11

1hr 8mins on the bike

KB Snatches - 32kg x 100 (50 per hand), "hands only" rope climbing - 10 x 5' intervals (50' total) and lots of ring work

Good week on the bike - 113 miles. Havent used the KB's too much lately - could've done a lot more, but the skin on the hands gave out.

Rope climbing is awesome.

Ring work is awesome.

I work as a river patrol deputy. We have boathouse on a 15-20 acre lagoon - I swim on my lunch breaks. I also have installed pullup bars and rings in the boathouse (lucky, boss doesnt care) so whenever I walk by - 5-10 pullups, pushups, whatever. My boss (again, lucky) encourages all the swimming and working out as he says it may come in handy someday. I'm also a member of the county's river and high angle rescue unit, so again, he encourages it. Thanks for the comment.
