Dec 19

I hurt my Levator Scapula again. Driving me nuts. I was doing some back bridges and woke up the next day killing me..Damit..

I was not working out in over 10 days, since Dec 9. Since on this Day Tianna Marie Lutan was born 8 pds 3 ounces, 20 3/4 Long. My little princess. My wife Trudy had a hard time with her. Its a little bit of a slow recovery. I was in the hospital with her for 5 days total. Emontionally draining. Everything is great now, though, I took some time off from work, around 3 weeks, what I can manage to help her out. It was the scariest and happiest day of my life. :)))

Dec 19th workout

1 arm Clubbell Mills, Density style. 15pds

14 sets x 13 reps

1/1 set x 26 reps

I am back trying to workout again after a month of craziness. Wife a baby, had some trouble, which I talked about earlier in my log, then I got the flu on top of that. So now I am slowy coming back into it.

I have been donig a Density cycle with my clubbells. Baby to finish it off, finally.

Goal.. 100 reps each arm

1 arm Mills 15pds I got 100/100 in 8 min 52 seconds.

Switching hands every 10 reps.

Felt pretty good. Time to work on my Density cycle with the clubs on Swipes. Brutal work.

1-30-05

Clubbell 1 arm Mills x 15 pds x 300 reps NPR

Switched hands every 10 until hit 100 reps

Then switched to every 20 reps ..unitl hit 120 reps

Then back to every 10 reps ..until ..150 reps

Then every 5 reps reps until 170 reps

Then Back to every 10 until 200 reps

Then Back to every 5 reps until 300 reps.

Hindu squats x 200 reps

Finished up with some Shin Bridges and Wrist stretches.

Threw some hand balm on my hands and threw on some socks on my hands before bed.

Wrist Stretch x ( Fingers inwards ) x 1 min

Just got the bruiser yesterday, so had to play around with it. I cannot believe the size of the dam thing. Its amazing. For anyone milling and swipeing the thing, your the man!!!!

I grab the neck and stand up,its still almost touching the floor. Its fun being short. Going to need to stand on a box or something to raise me up so I can get more ROM out of it. The handle is so thick. I love grip training, so anyone who does not think clubs don't work ones grip enough, well they are crazy. Love the bruiser.

I find out my lower back causes me more problems when my quads are tight. My hams never get that tight.

Since I have an half hour break at work, I figured I could start a Density Cycle, since i can never get that block of time at home.

Density 1 arm Mills x 20pds

Goal x 20 sets x 5 x 20 minutes

into workout:

8 sets x 3 min 57sec

10 sets x 5 min 33sec

15 sets x 8 min 19 sec

20 sets x 10 min 46 sec.

I always seem to do better than I think I would. First time me doing that weight in the Mill. I should have rested more, since after 20 sets I was fried and would not keep up good form, so I left it at that. Next time I need to pace myself better and take more shorter breaks.

Finsihed off with some Bending.

1 6 inch galvinzed nail

1 easy Timber Tie

1 hard Timber Tie

Things were going great until the 20th set then BAM, I got real tired, so started resting more, doing less sets. My left wrist kept giving out here and there. Its weird, strength, manily in the wrist would just come and go. At times would be great, then other times, nothing...

Its what I can squeeze in a half hour. Its on my break at work. My hands need some extra time to heal after that Mill workout also.

Toughest part is always keeping up the speed to keep up the time. One has to keep snapping/using the hip to generate more power. Sometimes I feel I am going to break my elbow when I hit the cast motion, since the speed is so fast. Clubs really work on the "plyometric" aspect of the muscle. That stretch reflex aspect. Another great thing about clubs. Hmm, anything they don't do??
