8 Finger Deadlift Lcokouts

Using Eagle loops and both arms and pulling from the floor.

Convential Style x singles x 135-225-315-405 NPR

Sumo Style x singles x 135-225-315-405pds

Neck Lockouts. ( Harness and Load Pin ) x singles

50-95-140pds

Tried for a NPR of 195pds, but starting pulling upwards and half way, my neck came forward and SMASH!!!!!!!! the weight and me hit the floor. I am fine..don't worry, but man what a rush... :blink Before the weight came crashing down. I hold my neck in a locked position to do the lift, my neck felt forward, because the weight was placed to far forward..ooppss..Amazingly my neck actually held the weight when it came forward, then my whole body went forwards. Thank god for always training my neck and spine. :)))))))))

I should have just worked up to 180pds or so and called it a day. I forget that deadlfits and olympic lifts do work the neck muscles a lot and they did not have it in them today to do a max lift..Oopps..hahah..

Pinch Grip Plate Curls x 15pds x 5 reps 20pds x 3 reps.

Called it a day. My neck is a little tensed up after :cry

My weak point is my arms, so these complexes are limited to how much I can curl, so killing them first is a good idea. totally exhausts them and everything else. My neck is killing me from my previous workout.. :blink

Glad to see you are still doing complexes man. Have you started doing them with thick handed Dumbells yet?

Log looks great man, I still contend that complexes with a cardio spike after each set is the best all around.

Complexes with Thick DBs, not yet. I like to lift as heavy as I can for Cleans and Push Presses. Should do them more, but CLubbells take a lot out of my grip. I try not to overtrain my grip. I use to do to much and got hurt and was out a month. One great thing about the complexes, after a while one forms is so smooth. Its fine to do deadlifting, but try throwing the same weight threw the air, it hits ones grip so differently. I have more respect for olympic lifters, they must have a grip like a gorilla.

Complexes are my cardio :)))

Shin Bridges x 2 minutes

Back Bridges x up on toes/hands x 52 seconds no hands x 20 seconds

Forarm Bridges x 1 min 12 seconds

Needed to do some mobility work for the back before bed time, since my L back was tightening up. Bridges are great for the back, they contract the right muscles and stretch out the other ones, such as the quads. :))

Tried 285pds then BAM!!!!!!!!!! Mid Back Back Spasm...Freaking kills!!!!!!!!!!..I cannot bend forward, backward or even breath!!!!!!!!!,arughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So pissed off I did some bending..

That dam back spasm I was doing Zercher squats and felt a sensation shoot up my back to my neck. Then my back tightened up like crazy.

Took some days off. I can still feel a little of the tension and spasm in my mid back, but not to much. Now its my neck. It shoots down my neck into the top of my traps and across underneath my collar bone. Drives me nuts.

Today am just doing some Overcrushers thoughout the day. Will see a Chiropractor and will get a massage this week.

Will do some Mobility work and other grip stuff. Will do some light Clubbell work to get everything going. One day at a time. :cry

update

Went to the Chiro..Yes it was my levtor scapula, which also had a spasm in my mid back, I actually moved a disk and a rib !!!..

I put the disk in my self. I was lying on the coach and got up and bam, it moved back in. The chiro put my rib back into place and did the works on me and dam it hurt..

I will finish off this end of this week with just doing Warrior Wellness™ and regular grip work. Will start doing some clubs next week.

Surprisingly I was good within the first week of my injury. But I took some more time off. 2 weeks off and feeling good. I did some Mobility exercises and Spinal rock sequence called Be Breathed x 70 reps, If any one knows Scott Sonnons work, then you know what I am talking about.

Overall felt great. Time to get moving again.

Overall good workout. Next day, still had some soreness in my Levater Scapler again, so going to get a massage and rest more often then usual. :))))

Hands are beat up from the clubs. Coconut oi, olive oil. aloe vera straight from the plant. Works pretty good.
