August 10, 04

4pm. Did some Neck supports with IM's neck harness and load pin.

10 sec holds. x 30/55/80/110/130

10 sec holds x 130 x 5 sets

10pm. Zercher Deadlifts. Used 2 plates to raise it up on each side.

155pds x singles x 10 sets.

HG100 strap holds

10pdsx 5 sec

15 pds x 5 sec holds. x 5 sets

11pm. Variety of back bridges, regular back bridges, forearm bridges and shin bridges.

I work in a gym. Today we got new barebells, dumbells and plates. It took almost 4 hours today to bring this stuff up and down stairs. Thats one dam hard workout. My dam grip is fried!!!!!

Did a Density Cycle with Clubbells today.

1 arm CB Mills

29 sets x 7 reps in 26 minutes with 15pd CLub

Nail Bending

1 IM white Nail

1 IM Green Nail

10 60D nails

Braced IM yellow Nail, Kincked it, but thats it.

I Bought some galvanized Pressure treated nails ( as it said on the box ) . 60D nails. 6 inch long. Things went good until I had it almost bend, when I brought it up to chest level to crush it in, the dam nail broke.!!!!!

I know I am not that strong, so I am guessing the nail is not that strong. Its harder then the other nails I have so using it should ot be so bad.

Not good. I smashed my right thumb in my car door. I could not beleive how bad the pain is. So really have to modify my training somewhat. No grip work or whatever in my right hand for a while. Thank god for Zerchers :)))

Took some time off this week to let the thumb heal. Its still very colorful, but at least I can work out with it :) More time to watch the Olympics ! :)

Throughout work hours. Overcrushers

5 30pm Complexes

Barebell Hang Clean- Front squat -Push Presses, 5,4,3,2,1 rep range

65/75/85/95/105pds

Not really used to the wrist stretch, hurts like hell.

Barebell Hang Clean grip High Pulls 5,4,3,2,1 rep range

65/85/95/115/125pds

Dumbell Complex

High pull -snatch -squat/push press- bent row- shrug

(two arm, DB in each hand) 30pds x 5 reps

(1 arm ) 4,3,2,1 rep range 35,40,45,50pd DB's.

Overall good 30min workout today. Thumb was not a problem, only when I hit the nail directly.

PInch Gripp Drop Catches 25pds x 5 35pds x 5 45pds x 2 reps.

1 set x 22 reps ( last set )

Variety of Back bridges afterwards. Overall good workout.

Grippers

HG100 30/30-30/30-30/30-20/20 reps

IM #1 OC's 6 sets holding 5 seconds, last sets 11 seconds.

Wrestlers Bridges ( using hands and up on toes for holds, nose to mat ) 39 seconds, 60 seconds, 1 min 50 seconds

( not using hands, just my neck and up on toes ) 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds

Foot arches, 10, 15, 26 seconds. These are brutal!!!!

Rock ups 10x 10/25/35 pd plate

I stand up holding a plate in my hands, squat down all the way, fall backwards, plate comes over my head like a pullover, then back over, then i squat back up to my feet.

Complex

1 arm complex ( high pull, snatch, squat/push press, bent rows ) with Dumbells

5x 30/40pd DB

3x 50pd DB

1 x 60pd DB ( not my max..I don't max out evey workout )

5x 50pd DB

After each complex, durning my rest period I would jump rope for 100 skips.

Seated toe raises..15 reps x 25pds x 2 sets 15 reps x 30pds ..calves toasted after jumping..

Behind Back wrist curls 45pds x 20/20 50pds x 20 45pds x 20 reps

I arm Clubbell Mills 15pds, Density Cycle

25 sets x 8 reps x 20 min 41 seconds.

Great workout. Mills kill my hands, so much more than the Swipes do and I do the swipes with the 20pd clubs, go figure!!!

DB overhead Extensions ( 2 hands, 1 DB ) singles 40/60/60pds

DB Knee Wrist curls..Singles x 30/40/45pds

Nothing beats some good old school DB lifting..

nice work so far, especially the bridging and handstand pushups.....i love both of them personally.....have you tried holding anyone yet in a gymnastic or back bridge?

1 set x 24 reps

1 set x 24 reps.

Beat up afterwards. Instead on my last 4 sets, I just condensed them into two sets and did more reps. Brutal!!!!!. My back, abs and Triceps were killing that night!!!!

1 arm Clubbell Mills

Goal x 23 sets x 9 x 23 minutes

I got 23 sets x 9 reps in 21 minutes 53 seconds.

Shin Bridges x 4 minutes

Back Bridges ( using hands and on top of toes ) 1 min hold

Forarm Bridges x 1 min hold

Workout was very tiring, I was lucky to make it and keep my time while trying to maintain decent form. Should have rested. Still was tired from previous workout.

I am logging this in right now, which is 6 am Monday morning, tired. Have a crazy work hours, for example today I work at 5 30am, tomorrow I don't work until 2pm. Not good for a sleep schedule, not to mention a pregnant wife does not help much :)). I guess one just does what one can :)

Current weight is 166pds. I have put on 16pds since January. Hmm, every since the wife became pregnant, hmmm, I am craving Seafood too!!!..funny, since she is having no cravings as of yet :rolleyes

I love lockouts. Hmmm, Floor deadlifts I have not done in a while. I like behind back deadlifts much better, my max is 405pds. Probably do about 350pds Sumo Style. Deadlifts are such a hard lift to get strong at. Hmm, but isn't everything? well me, yes, haaaa
