Blacksmith513
All i did was bending and levering today. My ab sprain got worse this week. Felt OK yesterday. I was moving a heavy augur for our Bobcat and as I was moving it I said I should be mindful of my abs and the second i said that I pulled it even worse. And this heat is killing me. All and all i'm good but a little banged up. WD2 orange spring +1 rubber band. 1 rep up to 3-3.. Then a few singles 3-4 and 4-3 each hand. These are getting easier every week. Pretty soon i'll be using the CROM. 2H Lever 17.5lbsx3 18lbsx3 18.5x3 Bending suedes and all doubles .2625x6" DR This was mutant bar... I needed to wrap in doubles 50 seconds 6.5x1/4 G5 double suedes 35 seconds 6.5x1/4 G% double suedes 38 seconds with the doubles i lose a few seconds taking off 2nd wrap for the final crush Reverse 5.75x1/4 DR 22 seconds 6x1/4 DR 27 seconds 7x1/4 CRS 35 seconds ISO 6" G5 suedes and leathers 3 "7 second hits got it down to 2" Very productive training session but I'm banged up. Part of my problem is when I get jobs like one with the concrete I treat them like a work out and go super hard. I need to learn to pace myself. I just like the challenge but I should save it for the gym.

But at the same time I just love pushing myself. Or seeing how fast I complete things. But from now on i'm saving that for the gym. Our framer is the same way. Hes 44 though but we love working with each other because we get it. He ended up with heat stroke the other day. Gotta know when to push it and when not too.
Blacksmith513
No rowing. Taking it easy because of my ab strain.. Good news. My Crusher handle is OUT FOR DELIVERY. Tomorrow i'll find my 1rep max thumbless and Tuesday 1rep for regular lift. I love the Rolling Grip Thing, but I think it works the grip too hard. I know its not a full body lift, but from the sounds of it I should be able to pull more weight with the Crusher.

Work killed me. Got most of the concrete out of that basement yesterday. Still a little. But that and the heat and humidity did it in. didn't have time to find my 1 rep max with Crusher.. I just found a comfortable weight as a base. Was supposed to see my girl this morning and then work this afternoon but plans changed and now i rushed for nothing. Still hopefully seeing her this afternoon. IDK about working either now.

Ended up working at my brothers all day anyways. Just finished and cracked open a cold high life.

Blacksmith513
warm ups kb swings and tgu nothing crazy, so no need to list reps and weights Crusher all i did was find my 1 rep max. Next week i'' start with doubles Left 92.5lbs Right 93.75lbs And the handle weighs more. So i'm puling more weight. This handle is way better, takes chalk better. I'll always have a soft spot for RGT though... 'Sorta feel torn between two lovers 2x5 pinch. So i've learned when i work really hard my pinch goes down. Sometimes it takes time to notice these things Started with 132.5x3 132.75x3 133x3 went for singles and they felt lighter like my CNS was warmed up so did more 138.5x2 137x1 135x3 137.5x1 138.5x1 2" NN thumbless 192.75x3 194x3 195.25x3 baby inch band deloads Left @8" 10 secondsx2 lowered resistance on bands 7"@ 8 seconds Right @8" 10 seconds x2 same thing lowered restance and 7"@ 7 seconds Baby inch negs 3x3 both hands some chest expander stuff cool down

Blacksmith513
35 minutes and like 5700m concept 2. Busting up more concrete on this job today but its a garage floor and we have jackhammer attachment for bobcat.. Going to be very hot and muggy though so i'm saving my energy. Still gotta load chunks in bobcat. I'm learning to pace myself from here on out. its hard, theres 3 of us. My dad will work very hard for a day and mess his back up for two weeks. My brother is just lazy. He spends more time thinking about how to do something than actually doing it.
John Knowlton
Sounds like you got a full day of work. Don’t let your dad work too hard. Try to tell him to save his back for another day. Same with you you need to save your back so you can move a couch this weekend. First impressions are lasting.
Blacksmith513
Just now, John Knowlton said: Sounds like you got a full day of work. Don’t let your dad work too hard. Try to tell him to save his back for another day. Same with you you need to save your back so you can move a couch this weekend. First impressions are lasting. Yeah thats my dad though. I try to not let him and he gets mad. My brother had sciatica once 5 years ago or more now and ever since then is afraid to do anything physical. It sucks because he's like 6ft2 and 260lbs.. .Hes a big guy and pretty strong but he has forgotten how to move things. We used to carry things together like nothing and work in unison. Now when we move stuff I don't have confidence in him. Yes first impressions are very important and doing it like this makes me look good. Her dad was in construction and worked in warehouse for a long time. Was also a bodybuilder back in the day.. Pretty sure we are on the same side politically.. That should be enough to talk about.

Yup. I know I’ll be the same way some day. His dad was the same. I hope. Still kinda early for me. Didn’t really want to be introduced to family or to mine yet. But it’s a good way to do it.
