Dang! I bet it was a pretty penny then.
He was the first guitarist that made me want an SG special. Just looks and sounds so cool at Live at Leeds.

Which is why i have a  1961 Epi SG reissue. I'm going to listen to that album while i work out this AM.

Awesome guitar! I don't know much about those.

Just got gifted my late grandpa's old Ibanez acoustic this weekend, and it sounds incredible. Better sound than my late Dad's cheap 1970s Carlos (Made in Korea) I've been playing for years. Going to cherish and play both forever though.

Thanks.. Yeah the guitar is cool. But not nearly as cool as having your dad and grandfathers guitars.

Now this is forcing me to really downsize.

That's awesome.  You should grip an 18-pack of the High Life in his honor.

Yeah I should. An 18 pack was just a weeknight for him. He could drink.

That's 0.3mm thicker, that's a big difference. So it's really great if it was that!

Thanks. I normally mark and or separate steel. Which I did but since I didnt bend last week things got moved and I didnt mark them. That’s where calipers really come in handy.

Most of my reverse bends I get ton 40 degrees before crush unless in rushing. But going forward I want to worry less about keeping it under 30 seconds and focus on hitting power.

completed my workout this morning just filling out now. Had to visit my elderly friends in nursing home this AM. Dementia sucks. This man played football with my grandpa and great uncles in HS, was a belly gunner on a B29 bomber during Korea, met JFK,  Winston Churchhill, had a successful company and now is slowly failing.  His wife is from Greece and her mind is slowly failing too.

I've been taking care of them since high school, they have no kids and his nieces and nephews have been trying to steal his property for years. So i make sure i see them every week because i'm all they have.

Can relate to this a lot, as I've spent a lot of time with the elderly and/or infirm.

My great uncle is 97, and has amazing stories from his life of naval service during WWII, traditional logging, etc. He was still working on the logging crews operating heavy equipment in his 80s, and still doing woodworking in his 90s. That man's hands are like catcher's mitts - raw power and tissue from decades - nearing a century - of labor and craft. He's as tough as they come. I wouldn't mess with him, even now. That dude has more masculinity in his toenail than most modern men have in their entire body. Not many men like that from those generations remain. I try to see him whenever I can and listen to his stories.

Yeah they dont make men like that anymore.  This guy had a real successful gourmet food and produce store in town. His dad started it in 1912... He never worked a manual labor job, but that job kept him active and he ways always in the garden, and was very strong even in his late 80s.. He 91 now and blind and has some dementia.  It sucks.  They are like a 3rd set of grandparents.

His wife grew up in Greece and she tells me stories about the Germans and Italians raiding her village during the war. The stuff that generation saw.

I've somehow really hit it off with a chick who does pin-up modeling.  Not sure how I did that. Taking her out Sunday, wish me luck.

27lbsx10 sec both hands

I like training it with the little ball bearing  that sits in the nut.. Really makes the lift super strict.. It also feels good on the wrists and elbows. Glad I bought this

sidewinder

Make it a point with reverse today to not worry about times and just focus hits..

*edit* and I know i'm moving at a snails pace with the Wrist Developer, like one notch a month. I could go faster but this super slow progress with it has been working and i figure why change it. I get a warm up in for reverse without zapping strength and i'm slowly getting stronger.   Great piece of equipment, but its killer on my tendons if i go to hard.
