Weigh in 180lbs still... I'm shocked considering how much i've been eating. I feel leaner now than I was a few months ago too. I was expecting to be more because i've really upped my eating.

Did 20 minutes of stretching this morning. Was going to do some blacksmithing, but my elbows are tired.

Nice work. 1:43 is cookin, at least for me ha. Were the 1 min intervals active rest like slow pulls or total rest?

Thanks, it got my heart rate going. I normally go int he 2:15-2:45 range.  But i really pushed it. the rests where just total rest. I've been liking this better than steady state.  Since i'm trying to bulk up a little I think this form of training is better. Twice a week HIIT and once a week slow and steady for recovery.

Nice. In a perfect world with all the time, I’d like to do something similar. Maybe KB swings/snatching/long cycle one day for HIIT, rowing intervals one day for HIIT, and then longer rowing/recovery. Right now it’s all about  distilling down to what’s most important with the time I can contribute to training, and for me that’s building up my strength foundation which just isn’t great. Maybe in a few cycles I’ll circle back to focus more on conditioning.

I know the hardest part about training, is find time to do it and recovering.

I'm sure using a rowing machine 3 times a week is slowing progress strength wise, but we have really bad hearts in my family and it makes my work easier so i'll sacrifice a little if it means i can potentially allow my train and live longer.  What i really need to work on is my diet.. You can't out run a bad diet.

If I didn't do cardio I guarantee my blood pressure would be high.

Yes, take care of your heart now. It’ll be better in the long run. You can have a good diet six days a week and have one good cheat day or one good cheap meal a week that seems to work for me.

The Chest Expander has been great too, my left arm is feeling better and that constant tightness in my elbow is a lot better... It wasn't painful but hard to explain the feeling.

It poured out again last night. If that caved in again i'm gonna crawl in there and stay. That sucked. It was like working in quicksand.
