Didn't you know? It was a mock up/a photo/I'd taken all the workings out/it wasn't me, I'd photoshopped myself onto someone else/it was CGI!

Sh*t if I could do grip like you, I'd be John Brookfield by now. Don't neglect your Strongman tho.

I haven't done any strongman training as such lately - there is no training locally anymore. I do lift a few times a week (hard as i don't have a power rack or deadlift platform) and if i do too much my grip starts to suffer from tired CNS etc... if i decided to max on the lifts i'd get 180kg squat and 220kg deadlift aswell as a 120-125kg overhead my numbers tend not to drop below this even without any direct training.

I can't get to a gym that often i am banned from the local one - LOL - and the other is a fair way away.

They always seem to be afraid of people who actually train don't they? Must make some of the Personal "trainers" nervous:D

Once you TNS that RB330N you could be up there with Martin Arildsson as the second person to cert with it. You have to buy the special "C" gripper then send the video and it has to be a TNS.

Way off still. 3/8'' or about 1cm. Thanks for that info though dude!

I am actually training them for the GM certs - an RB330N is the GM5.

THEN FIND ONE!!! OR TRAVEL TO ONE A FAIR WAY AWAY!!!

You've got 10 years on me, before I listened to the naysayers and threw my career away cos the doubters told me to!

If you don't make WSM by 2010 I will PERSONALLY kick seven shades of sh*te out of you (and don't think I can't cos you're stronger and younger than me!) but I've got the experience, and the badass victims!

You have the mind. And the Body. And the genetics. And the drive. And the determination to WIN. So do it.

If the worst happens, come visit me for a weekend, when you drive back, you'll have a good training platform, and my WSM equipment!

But you have to share with Pete!

This summer i am working with exchange students as a team leader from monday onwards - work is going be very busy. Not sure i've got the time to train strongman properly at the moment! :(

Twig i am honored mate. Thanks very much for the offer.

I don't drive i get around by train - therefore i'm not able to transport anything. I'd love to pop up for a training session at yours (be cool if Pete could come along aswell the guy is a freak and has so much ability in grip). Hopefully we can arrange a date - after the summer season is over mid August onwards would be ideal - that we all can make. Would be awesome! PRs are definitely in store... :D

SMALL HOURS TRAINING - (lol)

warmup one arm press 30kgx10x2

inch DB presses, got 1 up nicely arm straightened fully but off balanced immediately, the other sucked. Still hvaing trouble with the balance side of it but the strength is there.

strict one arm presses - 40kgx5x3 easy today

concentration curls - 30kgx3,3 35kgx1,2,1, 20kgx10x2

various high rep arm work to get blood flowing. Arms measured 19.5'' after this session.

a few no sets with the VG, 10,7 position for sets of 5. Easy stuff.

My bro age 11 likes the VG he cannot quite close the trainer yet but he managed it on 6,2 - good work! He also one arm pressed the plate loadable 'inch' with 20kg. :rock
