tmmicklabs
10-26-05 Bad Times: I was planning on training today but my right hand is jacked up bad. I shook hands with a co-worker today and I felt a POP in my right hand. After that my thumb started tingling and my hand went numb. I took some ibuprofen to no avail. I cannot even close a Trainer at this point. I have no strength in this hand at all. Every time I use it even for something as simple as opening a door I feel a POP and it goes numb again. If anyone has any ideas then please share. So much for certing on the Red this year ='-( 10-27-05 Grippers - Left Hand Only: 20 TNS closes of the Super Advanced 20 CCS closes of the Super Advanced 20 MMS closes of the Super Advanced note - doing the MMS closes caused my right hand more damage from doing the setting. To do just hold the gripper in front of you by the spring with the non-gripping hand and then place the gripping hand on the gripper handles and squeeze. Keep the non-gripping hand on the spring during the squeeze. Very good for training the not so sweet spot of the hand.

Bodyweight today is 202. I'm pretty happy with my 210. I pretty sure I am good for 220 today but I don't have a spotter. I was pretty tired at this point and don't want to hurt anything since i'm still healing from the BBB2005. I'm pretty happy about bending a 60d Common for the first time. I thought these were supposed to be tough but it might as well been cloths wire hanger. I never made it to the Doctor but my right hand is healing up pretty quick. I'm still scared to touch a gripper with it though. Maybe in a couple more weeks. Good Times are back.
