damn i was trying to post my home made strap i use for strap hold, if anyones interested i put it up in my album. nothing special just thought ide share

Get you get the Beef Builder super master gripper?

I think it is half way between the #2 to #3.

But it would be interesting to see if you can strap hold the Super Master?

hey mooinabc1 im still waiting for my credit card statement in the mail to activate my paypal acount. i should get it anytime!!!! then ill get KTA.

and im thinking about getting a beef builder off that site and theres 2 that i like...the grand master 220 and the elite 250. ill probably order them soon

forgot to post here last 3 workouts, so before i forget heres my past 3

i did 2 days in a row of forced shuts for a change....felt realy good. my left hand is realy holding that #2 shut quite easily now. right handed i still didnt get the #3 closed...veeery close though. back in my training log i rem having it shut for a few seconds before it opened...was that a fluke? or did i just THINK it was shut when it wasnt....hmmmm

last night i did reps

#2 right handed i got 18 reps, 9 reps, 8 reps

#2 left handed i got 4 reps then a fat fail and another fat fail

oh well 4 reps is still good for my left.

now im gunna take 2 days off and start over. see ya then :whistel

i took out strap holds out of my 3 day cycle, so right now its holds 2 days and then reps.....im just gunna do this for a bit. my last workout was holds/forced closes

i held that #3 so close to shut i dont think i could of sled a piece of paper in teh gap. held that guy for 19 seconds.

#2 i can hold shut with my left hand now for 24 seconds

just did my rep day.

right handed #2 - 20 reps, 11 reps and 12

left hand #2 - aaaalmos got 5...but still 4 reps, 3 reps and 3

every set was a personal record....amazing workout

#3 progress is realy going anywhere right now, im still sticking with it. i know it will fall someday. and no i havent ordered the beefbuilder yet. lazyness on my part

Dannyboy I made my own 220 pounds grippper.

I fouind that I could do 3 pounds on it plus (two steel washer)

I really help put in ONe steel washer each day with the strap holds

I measure to be 12 large steel washer=One pounds.

That is 6 washers=1/2 pounds.

That is increase of 1/2 pounds each week.

each month a gain of 2 pounds.

Each 3 months a gain of 6 pounds.

Each 6 months a gain of 12 pounds.

Each 9 months a gain of 18 pounds

If you are strap holding 20 pounds and with this method plus 18 lbs

that is 20+18=36 pounds on the strap hold.

Would you like to make one a stronger gripper and

what could I do use the store bought weak gripper and

sent to yhou then You just copy it to your ironmind #2 that

will make it into a stronger gripper? If so email your address

to me and I will do for you not problem.

k im still doing grip just nothing major to report. right now im doing 1 set a day and its going just as well as before.

just did some reps

#2 right handed - 21

#2 left handed - 7

my left hand has realy improved, im very happy

right handed i only went up by one rep but its ok

right no wlike i said im doing one set every night, i go from #3 atempts or forced closes to reps

im still unable to close my #3 even with a forced close, im veeeeery close though if that means anything :blink

im actualy doing forced closes with my #3 left handed too, not nearly as close as with my right hand of course

i went to the store to try the #4 with my right to see if i can include it in my training, but i could beeeearly budge it. so no point buying that bad boy

Dannyboy very impress with your 21 reps with the #2.

Iam still doing the KTA program and really improving.

I can 217 pounds about 5 reps.

This is the modfied #2.

Have you tried doing reps after 4 hours after wokout for

your reps try it and see if it works for you.

last night i finally held my #3 SHUT for 10 seconds. it was right handed and yes it was forced close. maybe tonight i can repeat

just did my grip work!!!!!!!

ive never had such a drastic increase yet

today was rep day.

#2 right handed i got 29 reps!!!!

-man i had to take a look at it after close up to make sure it was realy a #2 and not #1

#2 left handed i got it 11 times. % wise thats also a huge increase

for anyone who reads my training logs remember i said i was only doing 1 set a night, well now ive changed it a bit, i do 2 sets, first i start doing reps, then rest 5 mins and do forced closes. the next day ill reverse it and do force closes and then do reps so its always different and youll be fresh for the exercise every other workout.

now im not knocking anyone who does hi set volume. but for me personaly i dont do it...why do one good set and after that your reps will start to decrease, im not training biceps so i dont need to ''pump up'' my hand.

ok 10 mins after my above post i tried to do a no set....i no set my #2 BOTH left handed and right handed!!!!

ok thi is to good to be true. im starting to think my #2 has somehow gotten weaker?

And how close are to closing the #3?

yea im getting stronger, its weird....ive been stagnant for about 2 months then BLAM new strength gains

to answer your question right now im not doing strap holds. i used to love them but right now im getting gains and dont wanna change a thing till those gains stop

as far as teh #3 i havent tried a regular close in some time. ill get up to that soon.

when i can consistently close that #3 with my forced closed then ill move up to trying to set close it. and from there ill work on my no sets. baby steps i guess

i just did my #3 right handed forced close. man i never had a sweeter feeling, i closed it fully for 18 seconds

left handed im close, but cant fully close it forced either

right handed i held the #3 shut completly again

i cant close it on every workout, but im getting it on a more regular basis now.

if its anything like my first #2 closes it will be far apart...but eventualy ill do it more and more often till i can do it every workout, when i can close my #3 every workout via forced closes then ill move up to trying to set close it.

left hand #3 its getting pretty close too

rep day was today

right hand #2 i got 30 reps

left hand #2 i got 14 times

im pleased with my right hand results, but im a bit morfe happy with my left hand results, i remember a bit back my left hand was improving soooo slowly

i havent missed a no set with my #2 with both left and right hand in about a week now. no setting a #3 is MILES away i know. but one day it will happen

i havent missed a right handed force close with my #3 now in quite some time.

i hold it shut every time without fail.

SO..........its time to change the routine so i can involve #3 1inch set closes

im still doing 2 sets a night and its woring great.

im gunna change the routine up a bit now

day 1 - set close #3 attempt, #2 rep out, #2 no set

day 2 - set close #3 attempt, #2 rep out, #2 no set

day 3 - #3 forced close for time, #2 no set

off

repeat cycle

i havent used chalk in about 1 and a half months now, and i havent had problems with the gripper slipping.

its a lot less messy thats for sure
