5x5 this past week. 5x6 this coming week. I'm going to work up to 5x10 then clamp weight to the outside of the plate.

BTW, be looking for some video footage of my blob work coming soon. I finallly convinced my Father-in-law to let me use his digital camera for a day....

Cant wait buddy. Nice idea on the progression also. Ive been thinking of different ideas on how to progress on them but yours is as good as any. God Bless!

Progression is the trick! You'll be curling big numbers in no time.

Buddy came over and we horsed around some.

50 blob dl several times! About 5 Inch attempts all about 2-3 inches from the floor. Fun Fun Fun!

Did the filming for the vid clips yesterday. It took a while to figure out the lighting and what not. My hands felt pretty shot after about 20 lifts of the 50 and another 10 with the hex. So, I wimped out and didn't do anything else.

I do indeed do other weight training. What I do is a huge amalgam of everything I've liked from every lifting protocol I have the equipment/desire to mimic.

Currently my training looks something like this:

In the mornings, my wife and I do calisthenics. Combat Conditioning stuff added to some favorites from the Marines. Then I do my morning grip work. After work, I train with odd objects. Stones, Kegs and Barrels. I'll do dl's, cleans, presses and carries. Then I swing my homemade Indian clubs. Usually in the evening, my wife and I will go for a walk and I'll sprint up several hills, or climb in some trees, or lift a stone, etc. When we get home from this walk, I usually take a few shots at my grippers.

I'm hoping to join a gym later this summer and reintroduce, heavy squats, deadlifts, zerchers, and barbell presses to my routine.

Odin,

At Night of Strength 2, I spoke to Kim Wood for about 15 seconds. The first quote is the first thing he said to me. The second quote is something Kim kept yelling both nights. I have no idea what it means or where he got it, but I laugh everytime I think about it.

I'm 6'3" about 215lbs. My hands measure just under 8".

The past two days I've done some light gripper work. Warmup. A few closes of my filed #2, some pony clamp work, then dexterity Balls.

Brian (bport) came over this morning. We had a good time foolin' with blockweights and squeezin' grippers. He came real close to gettin air under my 50 Blob. (just between you and me) I think it was actually off the mat for a split second..... ;) I tried to pass the 50 around my body, but missed both times, and the 55 hex was not coming up today. Brian's good people. Look for him on the Blob list very soon....

It was a fun time. Doc lifts the 50lb Blob like

it was nothing. It was my first time to try

the blob, it is tough. I also got to

try his inch dumbell. I think all I did was roll

it across the floor a little. Doc even let me

borrow his 47.5 blob to train with for a while.

Hopefully when we meet again I'll have that

50 in the air.

T Sands stopped by today on his way out of town. We lifted blocks and squeezed grippers. I tore a full deck of cards for him. He lifted my 35 blob and was real close to my 40. I hope he stays bit by the grip bug.

I had to put off bending. Too many errands too little time.

Alrighty, I should have taken it REAL easy yesterday. I went out to the shed to do grip and couldn't do anything.....Hands HURT! Pain in elbows when squeezing.

I hereby declare today to be REST DAY! To be celebrated by a nap, and copious amounts of food.
