Which I actually like a lot. Bending with suedes is like driving a Cadillac after using them.

getting back into sandbags, break from kettlebell. 160lbs rows 3,4,5  and picked it up twice and walked across room. Should gain this strength back fast.

One of my goals is/was to lift the inch at less than bodyweight, But I think i'd to bulk up a little, just to 185lbs...  Might help with recovery too. Will get another sandbag zercher squats and overhead press. Plus shouldering and carries with my heaver ones.

too much chinese food, beer and whiskey yesterday

1 hour 10,300m on C2 Level 4. Plus 16 minute morning yoga...  

 

Am I the only one who didn't get any Xmas gifts yesterday🤣.. I know in my family I am.

All kidding aside, I feel silly getting gifts or giving gifts with anyone who's of working age.  Everyone pitched in and bought me a rowing machine for my birthday despite me saying dont get me anything. So I got them all nice gifts for their birthday this year but no more. 

My nephews I spoil but thats it. I've got a good family and thats all I really need.

Yeah it’s the same here for the most part. The niece and nephew, and grandma’s get gifts. Although I did buy my sister a new tv because she cooks for me 3x’s a week haha.

but anything I need I buy myself.

Elbows a little sore today and hands... I never go off what Jedd creates for a log, but today had to listen to my body and it was still a challenging bending session.

Just Thursdays. It takes a lot out of me, I see all these guys bending way more than me. I haven’t done much research on other styles but I wonder if reverse takes more out of you than the other styles.

Could have done the drill rod today and probably would have been fine but didn’t want to risk it. I want to start the year out pain free. Plus in dropped some granite on my left hand at work and it’s still sore.

pain free is a good way to start the year. to bad about the granite (I wont ask how)

The type of work that you and I do we are always at risk for some Kind of sprains and strains and whatever's

my sister got a vanity for the bathroom. Went to take the granite top off and thought the backsplash was connected... So when i moved it it fell right on my hand... Not a big piece but it hit it just right. 

yeah, the worst is when I push it too hard in the morning then still have to go to work. But I like the active recovery aspect of it. 

Another thing thats cool is, we do everything, so I wont do much masonry for a while, but then we will do block work and will notice the blocks feel lighter as I get stronger... Haven't done much demo in awhile but was doing some and pulling nails is even easier, probably from the bending and levering as funny as it sounds.

 

I've said it before and i'll say it again, I'd love to see what a concrete mason could do with grip, especially pinch.
