nockowt1
you gonna focus on the DU or reverse?? I'm unable to bend reverse right now because of my elbow so I'll be bending DU.
matthcarl
Still a strong DU. Have you tried a G8? I would have thought it would be easier than a 5/16 G2.
nockowt1
Still a strong DU. Have you tried a G8? I would have thought it would be easier than a 5/16 G2. The G8 is an evil bolt. After several attempts on it I wanted to try something else. I was able to kink the G2 about 5 degrees.
matthcarl
The G8 is an evil bolt. Unfortunately I have to agree That said, I'm going to try one reverse style next time I bend. If I get any kink at all I'll be happy.

nockowt1
4/9 #2.5 attempt -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBKb4S3k1Wo I heard the handles click but it doesn't look like I closed it on the video Grade 5 bolt in IM pads -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJT324RLaZM It's amazing how weak my wrists have gotten after not bending for a while. My hands aren't as tough either because this bend hurt a little.

I'm going to start including this in my workouts again.
nockowt1
4/17 Grippers (parallel set) -Tx5 -#1x5 -#1.5x3 -HG300x0 -BBSMx1,1 -#2.5x1,1 -BBSAx15 -IMTUG5x2x5 (ring and pinky) -IMTUG5x2x10 (index and middle) Hub Lift -45x1,1,1 -50x1 I wanted to see how close I am with the HG300. I was able to get it to a little less than .5". In addition to how tough the gripper is the lack of knurling makes it even more difficult. I'm still trying to convince myself that I'll close it by 1 May. It won't be easy, but I feel I'm up to it.

neilkaz
Nice work and good to see you getting the BBSM !! I miss mine by 1mm but expect to nail it when I catch the right day fully rested. Yeah HG knurling sucks big time. Chalk up and get to a dry place if you can. .. neilkaz ..
nockowt1
Here's my HG300 from 4/17: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_HLhot4kns Sorry about the quality of the video. After watching the video again I believe I'm more than .5" away from closing it. It may take longer than I originally thought it would. nockowt1
4/25 Grippers -Tx10 -#1x5 -#2.5x5 CCS attempts -BBSAx15 I'm getting closer on my ccs attempts of the #2.5. On one of the attempts the handles may have touched but only for a second.
nockowt1
The past few training sessions have been nothing special. I really wanted to ccs close my #2.5 by May 1, but I'm not there yet. I actually feel like my crushing strength has reqressed lately(I can't even parallel set close it anymore). I'll probably hold off on training grippers for at least a week while of think of a routine that will help me reach my goal. There was one plus to today's workout: I think I'll start training my pinch again so I can lift 5-10s sometime in the near future.
neilkaz
Keep after those grippers. Kevin, but rest just a couple extra days so as not to go stale. You'll CCS that 2.5 soon !!
