Good job with the bends. Are you bending double over hand (DO) or double under hand (DU)? You should also go to your local hardware store and buy some 40d nails and 6"x1/4" grade 2 bolts. Also FBBC sells some great bending stock like the 3/16" square. Practice with those and the yellow will fall in no time!

buy some 60ds. Easier 60ds (they vary) are easier than a yellow IMO.

I going to have to disagree with you Sam, I think the 60d nail is a tougher bend.

Same here. I suppose they do vary, but the griprite 60d's I have are a bit harder than a blue nail.

6" nails are usually 6mm not 1/4" in England and ARE easier than a yellow so are not really ""true" 60d nails. ;)

I bent some DO and some DU. I think I may have to make DU my primary way of bending because I have a bad shoulder and it is difficult to get the nail under my chin in DO. Thanks for the advice guys and the link.

Get some grade 2 bolts.

Cut down your whites and greens to 4.5'' with bolt cutters. You can also cut them with a hack saw if you have a vice to hold them tight.

Get some grade 2 bolts.

Good idea. Just make sure they're 1/4" thick, though. I nearly killed myself trying to kink a 5/16" grade 2 before I found out they're harder than a G8.

Keep training DO and your form will get better. Watch videos online to learn proper DO form. Plus throw DU and Reverse between now and then to have solid wrists. Try bend two white nails together. I guess it's a bit easeir than the yellow from what I can remember.

Looking good so far! Ever tried increasing the weight on the wrist curls, lowering the reps to 3-5 and doing about 5 sets? Change it up every so often and don't do the same # of sets and reps and weight or your lible to get bored... or it's just me. Keep it up and the yellow shall fall soon!

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm upping the weight next week. I've been out of the gym for over a month and I'm trying to ease my way back into it.
