Martin_Arildsson
2006-10-06 Deadlift: 3x3 @ 210 kg Didn't feel as easy as I wanted to. Thickbar (50mm) dumbell rows: 1x6 @ 25 kg 1x6 @ 45 kg 3x6 @ 65 kg It was hard on the grip Grippers: Not even worth to mention. BAH!
lifesnotfair
Maybe your gripper session was bad because of the rows with the thick dumbells? I have not tried dumbell rows in a while, but over a month ago I remember I had a hard time doing a few reps with a 60lb dumbell or so, my left hand would give in quickly on the standard 1 inch handle. (Yea, keep in mind I'm only now closing the #1 with that hand, not back then).

lifesnotfair
Don't give me that crap, you have popeye-like forearms and you can 2HP 100kg in your sleep. I learned yesterday that a bad training day can happen, and more than that, even two or three consucutive sessions may be crappy, but rest enough and keep trying, and you'll eventually gain some. Of course, you knew this already.

Martin_Arildsson
Thanks! I'm trying mini cycles. w1: Light weights, explosive (3-5 sets, 3-5 reps) w2: medium weights, quite explosive (3 sets, 3 reps) w3: Really heavy, go for PR (whatever you wanna go for).
