A couple of sets on 60 kg, triples. I think that I finally realized why I suck at thickbar!

Stupid walrusses don't have thumbs? :tongue

Sucked: Left/Right.

2HP:

20 kg x 5

40 kg x 3

60 kg x 3

80 kg x 1/1

100 kg x 1

110 kg x 1

115 kg x 1

117,5 kg x 0/1/1 PR!

The first attempt I lifted it somewhere around 10cm. Second lift is on youtube:

. The third lift I recorded with my phone, but I can't play it on my computer...

Afterwards I did some hi-reps with my RT.

Totally crappy, my crush is way down... Probably because of the new 2" pulldown-bar. I haven't had a good gripper workout for a long time. :( When I have a good crushing strength the #3 feels just as easy as the #1. Well, I should stop whining and recover more! :)

Deadlift:

Great sessions lately i have a 2'' pulldown bar in the shed but have never taken it to the gym and used it. Might have to start now!! The 2 hand pinch singles with 110kg! wow. :rock :rock impressive work buddy.

The reason why I bought the 2" pulldown bar is that I really lack open handstrength. So to make pulldown and other cable related stuff more fun, I felt it was a very good thing to buy. Maybe I should get a bar that is 3" too? :)

Hello there!

It's been a little while since I posted. So a little update would probably come in handy.

Since the last LGC I have trained grip very sporadically. I can however still close a #3.5 with both hands and pull around 110k on the 2HP. But I've continued with my weightlifting where I'm halfway to "decent".

Best deadlift:

My best OH press is now five reps with 110 kg.

I've mostly used Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 as program, as it seems to fit me pretty well.

Yo! :D I know who you are!

I'm actually not that interested about the MM ladder... Sorry! Too much logistic with sending grippers back and forth all the time. I think I'll start of with climbing the GHP gripper ladder.
