I haven't had a good gripper workout for a long time. When I have a good crushing strength the #3 feels just as easy as the #1. Well, I should stop whining and recover more! So to make pulldown and other cable related stuff more fun, I felt it was a very good thing to buy. Maybe I should get a bar that is 3" too? Since the last LGC I have trained grip very sporadically. I can however still close a #3.5 with both hands and pull around 110k on the 2HP. But I've continued with my weightlifting where I'm halfway to "decent".
