Stupid Log?

I was supposed to train a couple of days ago, but when we were out walking the dogs I slipped and hurt my left leg. It shouldn't be anything serious, and it doesn't hurt that much any longer so I will try to get some training done later on today.

Not much to say. I'm in a near life crisis as I'm having trouble deciding how I should combine weightlifting with grip training.

My life crisis continues! I think I want to have a dedicated day for grip training. The squat felt good, despite that it still hurts a little bit from when I slipped.

Thanks Eric! I hope my training weights will get a little improvement now that I rest a bit more between my workouts.

Grippers

Left:

CoC T x 10/10/10

CoC #1 x 10

CoC #2 x 10

CoC #3 x 1 (RGC 141)

CoC #3 x 1 (RGC 152)

CoC #3.5 x 0/0 (RGC 190)

CoC #3.5 x 0/0

CoC #4 filed negative x 1

Right:

CoC T x 10/10/10

CoC #1 x 10

CoC #2 x 10

CoC #3 x 1 (RGC 152)

CoC #3.5 x 0/0 (RGC 190)

CoC #3.5 x 0/0

CoC #4 filed negative x 1

Grippers felt decent. The first attempt at the 190 #3.5 was 3-4 mm away from closed with both hands. Not that bad.

2HP:

BLEH! My thumbs is still sore from the axle deadlifts I did last friday. I only managed to pull 100 kg, so that wasn't very fun.

Plate wrist curls:

3-4 sets

Stort hopp från coc3 till 3,5?

Har du inget mitt emellan?

Ouch. I'm afraid that I've jump started my grip training a bit too hard. My thumb joints aches (in a bad way) as soon as I put pressure on them, like when carrying a plate or anything else that requires involvement from the thumbs.

English!

Jumping from a 152 to a 190 gripper is a big jump. It should go better when I'm stronger! :)

I have several grippers that's inbetween.

Rumor has it that siljansnäs-strongman Roy has borrowed my euro pinch apparatus and that training for Löddeköpinge grip challenge has commenced. :D

I assume Roy knows that tacky is not allowed in any of the grip events? Better tell him just to make sure so he is not surprised on competition day (given that strongmen do use it in their competitions). Loddekopinge Grip challenge has a long tradition of attracting strongmen competitors.

He knows :) we train grip together sometimes at the gym.

He is also one of Swedens best heavyweight Greco Roman wrestlers, if not the best.

He certed coc3 and wants to cert 3,5 soon. I think he said that he was like 4-5 mm off with CCS atm.

My left thumb joint still hurts, so no pinching for a while. I can however still do some thickbar training without aggrevating the joint too much.
