yeah, try it. Maybe get your butt just a bit more down. If you think i'm wrong feel free to say, but since you angled the camera this way, it was visible.

01/26/2007 Gym and 'Grip'

Another not sooo good session. Was pretty sore from the last workouts.

Tried grippers also but a no go:

During the 9th rep sth happened in my left shoulder, most probably a strainment, the attempted 10rep was solely for the spotter. :rolleyes

Haha,

now serious: my long term goal is 170kg for the BBB in october.

So 160 at the MGC sounded like a reasonable interim goal.

Thick Bar is by far still my weakest event.

0x87.5kg (missed by 10cm)

Block Work

Got the Blob50 several times righty on my bench and the Blob20k + 0.5kg lefty which is a new PR.

Afterwards a couple of sets with a home made sledge lefty and some singles with my 4kg hammer + extra weights righty.

I like OH-Snatches mostly because they are fun and of course they have some impact on the upper body strength.

02/06/2007 Easy Gym Session

Day I learned what a real off-day means ...

Bench

Wanted to go up to 130kg but was stopped much earlier:

7x50kg

3x80kg

1x100kg

1x115kg

1x125kg HEAVY!! :blink

stopped :flame

Deadlifts

Last session with heavier weights was about 4 weeks ago at theswiss.

So lighter weights only today:

5x60kg

1x100kg

1x130kg

1x160kg

2x180kg

4x190kg

ok.

Curls

Tried to go up one DB:

L: 22.5kg x 3, 20kg x 5,5

R: 27.5kg x 3,3, 25kg x 5

Additionally: Incline Bench, one set DB wrist curls.

No shoulders, no lat workout today.

I would like to have your off days, Franky :D

I started to train grippers again, yesterday. In the last 6 month I just closed grippers at a few occasions. Don't want to make it too easy for the strong Dutchman to win the grippers at the MGC ;) . If the training is going well I will give the MM3 a try.

Yesterday I tried Axle Dls: No way with a sore back from tuesday.

Went up til 1x142.5kg and that was it.

02/10/2007 Gym

After talking a bit with Theo I decided to rearrange my bench workouts.

For the bench I'm following a new program with some slight adaptions (based on Prilephin) for the light days.

Normal Bench Matrix

The light days I'll do with 3@ 6 reps focussing on dynamic work that means speed.

I'll do an increment on the light days of roughly 2.5kg from workout to workout.

Heavy day will be friday, light day tuesday.

I'm using 127.5kg as the current 1RM.
