FrankyBoy
Thanks guys. I had to test my max since Theo asked for it and made myself curious. @Theo: I'll try.

I'll stop posting vids, or maybe i'll hit a higher weight and do it again This keeps the upcoming MGC very interesting! yeah, try it. Maybe get your butt just a bit more down. If you think i'm wrong feel free to say, but since you angled the camera this way, it was visible.

Florian Kellersmann
Nice Axle deadlifts. I want to see 160kg at the MGC
FrankyBoy
Thanks guys! @Flo: 160kg sounds pretty cool to me.
DuTCH
No no that is not good Frank! Don't set limits, go for at least 180kg!
FrankyBoy
Haha, now serious: my long term goal is 170kg for the BBB in october. So 160 at the MGC sounded like a reasonable interim goal. Thick Bar is by far still my weakest event.
the swiss
Thick Bar is by far still my weakest event. but you are in fact very good at it, considering your hand size!! awesome, anyhow.
FrankyBoy
Thanks David. Friday a small gym session. Not really worth to mention. Did some nice OH snatches. Today: Pinch and Wrist didn't expect too much, too long I didn't train that stuff 2-hand pinch Up to 1x82.5kg 0x87.5kg (missed by 10cm) Block Work Got the Blob50 several times righty on my bench and the Blob20k + 0.5kg lefty which is a new PR. Afterwards a couple of sets with a home made sledge lefty and some singles with my 4kg hammer + extra weights righty.
Florian Kellersmann
Doesn't look like a bad pinch workout... By the way, why do you train those OH snatches? Grip? Overall strength? Fun?
FrankyBoy
Thanks Flo. I like OH-Snatches mostly because they are fun and of course they have some impact on the upper body strength.
FrankyBoy
02/06/2007 Easy Gym Session Day I learned what a real off-day means ... Florian Kellersmann
I would like to have your off days, Franky I started to train grippers again, yesterday. In the last 6 month I just closed grippers at a few occasions. Don't want to make it too easy for the strong Dutchman to win the grippers at the MGC . If the training is going well I will give the MM3 a try.

FrankyBoy
02/10/2007 Gym After talking a bit with Theo I decided to rearrange my bench workouts. For the bench I'm following a new program with some slight adaptions (based on Prilephin) for the light days. Normal Bench Matrix The light days I'll do with 3@ 6 reps focussing on dynamic work that means speed. I'll do an increment on the light days of roughly 2.5kg from workout to workout. Heavy day will be friday, light day tuesday. I'm using 127.5kg as the current 1RM. Bench 2x2x20kg 8x50kg 3x80kg 1x100kg 1x115kg (should have been 117.5kg) 2x10x95kg Close Grip Bench 6x80kg 14x80kg BB Curls 3x30kg 3x40kg 4x50kg just a test if I can do BB curls with my left hand (contractutures in the left forearm), looks good. DB curls Left 10x15kg 10x15kg 10x17.5kg 10x17.5kg 10x17.5kg Right 10x20kg 10x17.5kg 10x17.5kg 10x20kg 10x22.5kg Lets call that Pumping Iron. Lat Pulldown Wide Grip 10x30kg 10x50kg 5x70kg 3x80kg 2x90kg 8x105kg 5x105kg Embarrassing that the weight tower only carries 100kg and I have to use additional dumbells on it. Narrow Grip 5x40kg 5x60kg 5x80kg 5x85kg 5x85kg Forget to take the chalk with me again, so no grippers.
