Thank you, I was quite happy with my progress on the 2 hand pinch, concidering I've slacked off on it some. I've stopped doing grippers for a while and tried a #3 last night with my left and think it was my best attempt yet. I think the thickbar work has helped a bunch. I am completely sold on using thickbar and wide pinch to improve overall hand strength.

Good job on the loading pin v-bar. I assume that is the IM 2" diameter version. I prefer the feel of that over the 1" version. I definitely respect anyone who can put up big numbers with the 1" version though. I feel as though I can't get a grip on it no matter what. But, as Silversson says, I must not be strong enough! But who is actually as strong as they want to be? Not me, for sure.

Yes its the 2"er. I like it better too. I don't really like the 1" v-bar as a grip contest event.

Todays training: after gym workout of compound cleans and front squats

Bending 10x timber ties, alternated between my easy ones and the hard ones (about the same as an easy 60d). Easy bending. Got my 25 reds on the way, one of them will be bent soon I hope. Picking up some more g5s and 8s monday.

Dont know how percentage based programs work for RT but thought I'd give one a shot, hope to add a theoretical couple of lbs a workout to my max and hit 150 on 2/28. On 1/14, I actually did 5 sets of rollers.

G8 5.5"x0 decent kink, but no go

G8 6"x1 Snapped!! Got real tough during the crushdown, then SNAP

G5 6"x1 3/4ths inch off center

RT: 128x5/4, 3/0 123.5x4/2, 2/1 wanted to get 4x4 w/128, failed badly!

Roller: 50x1, 80x 3x1

Not happy about 5.5 G8 fail, or my performance on the RT :angry:

I bent a 7/16ths"x 24" hex bar on saturday don't know if this is that great or not but it looked tougher than anything i've ever bent

Right wrist been sore since last monday

Can't keep bending while hitting the oly lifts hard and working on throwing for the games.

RT: 118x5/4, 5/4, 5/0 Very bad, WTF!!??

Roller: 66x1, 81.5x2x1 PR but not easy, think I'm overtrained. I'm in the middle of a forced week off from the weights. Threw a bit on Sat, hammers, WFD

1 week off. That sucked!!

2/7 :

Grippers Tx10, F2x5, SM attempts x4 got 2 w/right, 1 w/left

Left hand attempt w/ #3, 1/2" lost some strength, no surprise

Wrist roller: 50x1, 83x0 ( got the pronation half, not the flexion ) 50x3

What a pump!! Weak, but I closed grippers w/right hand, and it didn't hurt!!!!!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!!!! :D

Did you want your Elite back? Looks like your back into grippers. I am getting ready to order the GLX so I will no long need the Elite and when It gets here...a few weeks from now you will have to come over nad wreck your hands with me.
