Great Log Deaner Keep it up, you'll find great inspiration reading from it a year from now!!! 

While you are waiting for more plates you can take a page out of Clay's training ideas and try some plate pinching with less fingers.

I noticed you mentioned jumping on the wagon -hope that is going well for you!!!

Yeah wanted to get on the wagon to trim down a bit, but.. Maybe there are easier ways to trim down, I just love beer, not in great quantities but not exactly the light stuff either. I don't know why I didnt think of pinching with less fingers. I think I will go buy a 10 tommorow or monday so I can give it a shot. I've been looking through your log as well, very interesting stuff. I really wish I had more space to train at home, and I can't see bringing a thickbar to the gym, was thinking maybe a thick chin bar mounted in our spare bedroom.

Fell off truck at work earlier felt ok til a couple hours after workout

Back very stiff but it'll be ok

Right hand: helped set grippers and did some spotting, held the after workout beer. Going to try and not use it at all til 2005, at least not for heavy grip work, I guess I'll have to hold my pecker with my left hand.

Thick DB 95#x5x1 can't get any kind of traction on the pvc

What a pump!!!

Don't know if I should tape the pvc on the db or roller

I cannot wait to get a rolling thunder!!! I love this thickbar stuff. I can even use my right hand!

Thinking I will alternate workouts from thickbar/pinch and grippers

next workout grippers, then pinch, then grippers, then thickbar etc. any

thoughts??? I train grip m,w,f.

How thick is your thickbar Deaner? Do you have the Apollon's Axle or a homemade version that's thicker? I have the AA and I'm (hopefully) going to get the Turk soon. Great stuff. I think I will hit the thickbar again once in a while. You've inspired me.

I am only borrowing the thickbar, thanks Sean. It's 2.5" I think. I love thickbar, and it doesn't hurt my right hand that doesn't want to heal. Only thing that hurts is grippers, I'm starting to wonder if it will ever heal. Be interesting to see where I'm at with my right hand when it does though, its a good experiment, seeing if only thickbar and pinch will help or at least maintain my gripper strength.

Left hand: negs w/ filed grandmaster x3

2.5" wrist roller: 50x1, 61x3x1

Maybe not do these rollers every workout, but they are fun

It is 2, 3/8" thick and weighs a mere 45lbs. Glad its working out. Glad to see your thick wrist roller is working out also.

5x10's x2 only 1 full deadlift (rt. hand)

4x10 x2 max hold

Not feeling too strong today. Hitting the weights hard, maybe too hard??

Last day of training til after x-mas

I quit smoking/copenhagen on monday 6pm. Hurray for me!!!

Right hands feeling better, can still feel it though

Congrats on quiting the tobacco, I know how hard that is.

Thanks, a little encouragement sure helps. If people only understood how hard it would be to quit, they wouldnt start but it's hard to understand until your battling it. I do feel real good at this point.

RT: 100x 3 sec. 110x 3sec. 120x 3 sec. 125x 1 130x 3x1 not pretty w/left hand barely getting off floor (I'm as shitty as I thought I'd be on this lift.) Max was 135 right, 125 left on xmas day.

Wrist rolling: 50x1, 60x2x1

Think this will be my Monday workout from now on.

Right hand still hurts, getting better VERY slowly

Only effects bending and grippers
