Carl's feat of complete domination is probably the greatest we've ever seen and the greatest we will see for a long time, The closest to him is probably Ivan Cuk

At least I am glad Carl Myerscough was able to accomplish the GHP 10 cert before the list closed. I'm guessing his record will stand for years to come (in terms of absolute gripper crushing power in RGC ratings). It inspires me greatly to know that a human being is capable of such a tremendous feat. 😱 I am disappointed but understanding about Wade's decision. I was hoping to certify on a lighter rated GHP7 within the next year or so... And I just acquired a real Gillingham block too. 🥴

We calculate from RGC lbs to SGR kg usually such a way:  [SGR KG] = [RGC LBS] * 0.43,  where coeff 0.43 consists of two factors: 1. conversion factor (lbs->kg) - 0.454 2. correction factor 0.95. and multiplying 0.454*0.95 we got 0.43. Such a way. But ... From some videos I have noticed that when Gripper to be rated has high rate (for example, Titan or Tungsten), then coeff strives for 0.452, and difference between rgc and sgr strives to zero. Why is it so? I guess, that than higher the rate then point of applying forces to handle moves closer to 0.5''. SGR always measures load at 0.5'' point. But rgc - not - due to strap properties. For higher rate, strap fits tighter with handle. I'm not sure is it right for any gripper. It is only my guess based on some videos and logic.

Workout 5/12/24: A. Grippers:      Right: MMS (PK): IM 2.5 (121) x2 | Standard Fe (132) x 1      TNS: up to GG4 (115);  attempts at Standard Pt (115)  and Silarukov 110 (unrated)      Standard Cu (106) x 1 TNS + 6 click closes | 1+6 | 1+7 | 1+5 | 1+3      Left: alternating Choked Standard Fe (136) @ 19mm x 4 singles, 1 miss | GHP5 (112) x 4, 4, 4, 4, 15 click closes ending in 5 second hold B1. Bench Press: 92.5kg x 3 | 95kg x4 | 100kg x3 B2. Seated Neutral Grip Pin Press: 57.5kg x 3 sets of 6 B3. Tricep Extension (cable, straight bar): 35kg x 3 sets of 10 A. Reverse Formulator: 4kg x 20, 20, 14 B. Wrist Curls (cable, single hand): 10kg x 3 sets of 20/side I played around with the MMS on the right hand to see how my palm would do.  I felt pretty strong, and there is no immediate pain, but we'll see how tomorrow plays out. I didn't quite have the same end power on my Standard Pt (115) attempt, but I got the Silarukov 110 (unrated) to basically the same exact distance. If I don't have pain tomorrow, next week will be a testing week for both hands MMS. I think I may be able to get my 132 on the left if I get a good set.
