DU in 1" singles

- CRS 9/32" x 7"
- CRS 9/32" x 6"
- CRS HEX 7mm x 6.7"
- 3x CRS HEX 7mm x 7"
- G8 bolt 1/4" x 6" (490lb batch)
- 12.9 bolt 6mm x 6"
- DR SK95 7.3mm ("L") x 7"
- DR SK95 7.2mm x 7"
- DR SK95 9/32" x 6.5"
- Bolt 5/16" x 6" (something soft from the hardware store)

Only these wraps because as strange as it sounds, bending in thin wraps is easier on my wrists than going thick singles or doubles.

Blobs
RH
- 2x3 KWN40
- 1x3 KWN50 assisted from side, negative unassisted
- 1x2 KWN50 assisted from side, negative unassisted
- 1x1 KWN50

(Made sure I lifted it at least once unassisted)
- 1x2 KWN50 assisted from side, negative unassisted
- 1x6 KWN40
- 1x8 KWN40

LH
- 2x1 KWN40
- 2x3 KWN40
- 2x1 KWN50 assisted from side
- 2x3 KWN40

I got a washer with a 1" inner diameter to measure my wraps like people did on the BB forum. As I expected, this is a much stricter way to measure pads than just using calipers. And it turns out the wraps I measured at 1" actually couldn't go through. So I needed to cut like 1cm/0.4" from them (now they go through without a problem). Btw even one of my IMPs can't go through because of too much dirt/chalk.
Anyways, I know I just bent two days ago but I wanted to do a few bars DU in them.
- 2x CRS 9/32" x 7"
- CRS 9/32" x 6.5"
- DR SK95 9/32" x 6.7"
- DR SK95 7.2mm x 6.7"
- DR SK95 7.3mm x 7"
- 35CrMo-A 7mm x 6"
- DR SK95 9/32" x 5.5"

I know, John.. I still don't know what to do with it. I can always sell them as scrap I guess.

Very long time since I did pinch blocks, kinda wanted to do them today.

80mm (3.15") block
Both hands
- 5x1 27.9kg/61.5lb

120mm (4.7") block
Both hands
- 3x1 22.3kg/49.2lb

Blobs
- 1x1 KWN50 lift RH
- 2x1 KWN50 assisted lift LH
- 1x1 KWN50 assisted lift RH
- 1x7 KWN40 lift RH
- 1x4 KWN40 lift LH

Also did a few gripper closes just for maintenance.
- 3x1 CoC #3 (unrated) MMS RH
- 1x2 CoC #3 (unrated) MMS RH

And a few plate curls
Both hands
- 3x3 15kg plate curls

I will start training properly again, it's just I've been very busy and preoccupied lately so the only thing I did consistently was bending.

Strong work. 120mm is very wide for a pinch block. Yours hands must be pretty big.

Little over 20cm, not that big.

Yes, it's a big boy. I made it from a piece of rectangular steel pipe.

Still a good but over average although I think hand spread is more apt when talking about pinch, especially very wide like 120mm. You like make things difficult for yourself as 120mm must be uncomfortable 🤣

DU

One in 1" -> one in 1.3" :||
1" singles
- CRS 9/32" x 6.5"
- DR SK95 9/32" x 6.5"
- CRS HEX 7mm x 7"
- C45 7mm x 7"
- Stainless bolt 5/16" x 6"

Multiple hits, this wasn't easy in these wraps. No grade on it, but it's a harder stainless bolt, not like an A4 or smg like that.
- DR SK95 7.3mm (~"L") x 6"
Getting really tired here.
- DR SK95 7.3mm (~"L") x 7"

1.3" singles
- 2x CRS 5/16" x 7"
- CRS SQUARE 7mm x 7"
- CRS 21/64" x 5.7"
- CRS 21/64" x 6.5"
- C45 HEX 7mm x 6"
- CRS 5/16" x 5"

I was surprised I could finish this last one, I was really tired and left pinky looked like sh1t

I didn't do any workouts for days, but this was a tiring session.

It's not 3", it's 1.3".
Recently I started logging bending based on wrap diameter.
I jmeasured the 1.3" one with just a caliper, but I'm stricter with the 1" wrap. I have a washer with a 1" diameter hole, and when wrapped (without a bar), the whole wrap should be able to go through the hole without a problem. Interestingly even one of my IMPs can't fully go through because of too much dirt and chalk.

Btw this is similar how people measured wraps on the BB forum. They had 1" and 1.5" categories (among others).
But no such certs nowadays. I'm just having fun

I see. That makes much more sense. I now remember a post where you talked about this and the washer.

This bar was torture from 30 degrees, and it took me almost 5 minutes. That being said, I think it's only been once or twice I could do this without doubles. It's essentially the same material used to make hardened bolts, just this is not hardened but annealed, so it's somewhat milder. It is much, much harder than a DR of the same diameter (O1 or SK95, doesn't matter), but C45 is still closer to an average G5 or 8.8. Anyways, as it hit above 40 (was 42) I stopped. I was fried after this.
- Stainless bolt 5/16" x 6"

+ HRS SQUARE 3/8" x 7" braced
I got just a meter of this for fun with my last steel order.
