RH - Grippers
- 2x3 Standard Fe, RGC 134, 20mm block set, 3-sec hold on last rep
- 2x2 Standard Fe, RGC 134, 20mm block set, 3-sec hold on both reps
- 2x1 Standard Fe, RGC 134, 20mm block set, 5-sec hold on close
- 2x1 Standard Co, RGC 165, set practice to ~10mm
- 2x1 Standard Adj Ti, filed, RGC 135, 20mm block set

LH - Inch trainer
- 1x5 128.8lb/58.4kg level lift
- 1x2 140.2lb/63.6kg level lift
- 1x1 151.9lb/68.9kg level lift

The 140lb double went so well I decided to go for it.
Success, but I couldn't replicate it a few minutes later (failed around the knees).
Still, less than 10kg to go... at least until the weight of an inch bell, because I'm sure it's harder than my trainer. But as I hit 78kg, I will buy the real deal.
- 1x1 146.2lb/66.3kg level lift
- 2x1 146.2lb/66.3kg slight tilt lift
- 3x1 140.2lb/63.6kg level lift
- 3x1 140.2lb/63.6kg slight tilt lift

Yes, you will.👍

Your going to inside of this year easily I bet. 10kg isn't that much...

Thanks, Derek. Now that I don't bend that much/heavy, every other grip-related stuff goes smoother.

It's big, Doug, it's big 😅.
It's obvious that the main problem is my weakness and not my hand size. I will lift it and cert on it, eventually.

It's time to work out properly again, not just grip and bending.
But I'll be doing it at home to save time (+ I'm not too fond of the gym close to me). So no big weights (and no pullups 😪).
I have very limited equipment, but it's better than nothing.

Pendlay rows
- 6x16 69kg/152lb
The shaft of my Inch trainer is long enough to do this.

Pronation curls with judo belt
- 6x12 21kg/46lb both arms
I rewatched @Londonjoseph's video to learn how to do it. Belt loop around the thumb, start from 90 degrees, curl with pronation, slowly back to 90 degrees and repeat.

Seated rows
- 6x24 black band with a rolling pin
This one is not bad, but I have to do a ton of reps to feel it (and this is my toughest band). I ordered a pair of dumbbell shafts to do one-handed rows and other stuff. Yes I don't even have dumbbells besides my Inch trainer haha 🙃

Great stuff.

For the pronation curls I mix it up. Sometimes I like to fully supinate. I find using the 90° method translates to my sport the best, but for doing hypertrophy and growing your pronator muscle I would always fully supinate.

Thanks man, I will try it that way the next time.

I know you don't compete in armwrestling, if I didn't I would be fully supinating more often.

RH - blobs
- 1x5 KWN40 (18.7kg/41.2lb) lift (part of the warmup)
- 2x1 KWN55 (54.9lb/24.9kg) assisted lift (from the side)
- 2x1 KWN50 (50.5lb/22.9kg) lift
- 3x3 KWN50 (50.5lb/22.9kg) assisted up to the knee, unassisted from there
- 1x8 KWN40 (18.7kg/41.2lb) lift
- 1x10sec dragging around the KWN55 (54.9lb/24.9kg)

LH - Inch trainer
- 1x5 128.8lb/58.4kg level lift (part of the warmup)
- 1x3 140.2lb/63.6kg level lift
- 6x1 145.7lb/66.1kg level lift
- 2x2 140.2lb/63.6kg level lift

And an uninteresting trivia I noticed about IM CoC generations: the double stamped-only number(left) has a narrower band than the "newest" version, and is engraved deeper.

Every time I see/read about your KWNs, it kinda makes me want to add one (or all of them) to my collection.  🤪

Blobs are a lot like beer… ones to many, 100 is not enough

I think the biggest problem for them is not even the international shipping, they could manage that.
They're really proud of the blobs, inch dumbbells, and kettlebells (as they should be). I guess the problem is communicating with the customers in English (many small Japanese companies have this problem). But I can be wrong.

To bad they couldn't straighten that out.

Its a niche market, but nonetheless a market for their product and people are willing to pay.

The washer choking can nick the spring

I know it looks like an old gen CoC, but actually it's the newest gen.

When it started to get rust spots, I applied a rust remover I used before on other surfaces without thinking about the chrome (or nickel?) plating. Well, it removed the rust and almost all the plating as well. It looked awful, so I decided to remove it all, at least it doesn't look weird this way.
So it's really not a valuable or nice gripper, I don't care if it scratches the spring.

This is how it looks like next to an old, only-number double-stamped CoC (old gen on the right)

Their springs are polished, not plated. From IronMind’s FAQ:

IronMind intentionally uses natural finish steel on Captains of Crush springs, and they will oxidize in a humid environment if left to their own devices—please note that this is cosmetic, not dysfunctional. To remove any oxidation, use a light polishing cream to restore the spring to its natural finish. Then block moisture from the spring by wiping it down occasionally with anything from light oil, like WD-40, to car wax.

This explains things, thanks.
