When you use the WD do you left your anchor hand/pinky hang over bottom of handle a little? Ive heard of some people doing that and I think i'm much stronger doing it that way.  In a couple weeks i'm going to give CROM spring a try again.

I'm very tempted to order another when 'I buy the blob replica... That way I have a crom and orange spring model and wont have to waste time changing springs.

time is money...

Yes, front hand pinky hangs over the steel a little bit. In this video, you can see it quite clearly:

I know it can be a little bit annoying... maybe if there is a new batch with a cool color I'll buy another one haha.

tell me about it... Thanks.. I'm going to try it again with my pinky hanging over... Its a lot easier... I bet I could do 1-1 with Crom that way.

Yes, it is easier that way because it helps keep your wrist close to a neutral position. Rewatch your most recent bending video: it seems like as you progress with the bend, you do this intuitively.

I also think you can do Level 6.

Do it. It’s my favorite piece of equipment.   Just a straight forward way to strengthen the wrists.

2022/10/15 Grippers

LH index finger is not ready yet for some serious gym action (actually I opened the wound a little bit yesterday), so just did some grippers with RH.

- 4x1 GHP #7 (unrated) MMS
- 2x1 GoG ESG #6 (unrated) MMS

- 1x Standard Adjustable Titanium set to RGC ~171 - 20mm parallel choked
This gripper was rated at 180 with a filed handle, so going by the ~5% rule, it should be ~171 (this is the max setting on this gripper). I will buy an adjustable Tungsten in a few weeks.
(about the video: I wasn't setting it further with my LH, just putting it there before the close as it were MMS)
- 3x1 Standard Adjustable Titanium set to RGC ~156 - 20mm parallel choked

2022/10/16 Pinch

60mm pinch block - 11" loading pin
Both hands
- 1x 26.8kg/59.1lb
- 1x 28kg/61.7lb
- 1x 29.3kg/64.6lb
- 1x 30.6kg/67.5lb
- 3x1 31.9kg/70.3lb

3"x40mm hub - 11" loading pin
Both hands
- 1x 19.2kg/42.3lb
- 4x1 20.5kg/45.2lb

Still not sure about the technique, but these were relatively easy reps.

Blob 40 (18.7kg/41.2lb)
- 1x lift RH
I'm glad I made an attempt, because I was able to lift it for the first time. My wife kills me if I drop it so controlled on the way down as well.
After that, both hands:
- 10x1 assisted lifts with slow negatives

Thanks, I'm happy I got it!

Yes, as I'm able to lift it consistently, I will get the 45lb one.

Im sure you will be buying it soon then.  I should just buy the one from World of Grip, I keep talking about it.  Once I can get 50lbs on it, i have 100lbs hex head db i'll chop up for two actual blobs. But its nothing I want to start training quite yet.

The blobtop is a very cool device for sure. 50lbs would be very strong.💪

some day... Problem is you cant clean it to your shoulder and you don't get quite the same ROM from lifting a real blob. But it seems like an ideal way to train for the actual blob because its the same size... Get your hands used to the dimensions from a lighter weight..

Someday i'll find a score of dumbbells on facebook marketplace and cut them up into blobs.

Thanks for your kind words Wristmaster! I saw your recent no-warmup RGC 152 closes. Both looked so easy, super strong. 💪
