I missed the 290 about halfway up. Just not enough drive to blast through. I thought it was only a mile, but it turned out to be 2 miles and was way harder than what I was expecting. (I have not run more than 20 continuous feet in probably 15 years.) I tried for a bodyweight press with 175 but got destroyed a few inches from the starting-point. Very frustrating. I felt pretty strong today and was hoping, with a little dip, I'd be able to get it up. When I dropped down to 165, the rep was kinda easy. Today's ice bath was tough. It was 49 degrees and rainy outside in the evening, which made it pretty tough getting warmed-up afterwards. Typically, I can make it about 5 minutes in 35-38 degree water before starting to shiver. Tonight, I started shivering after about 2 minutes.
