Where's your max at on bench now frank?

Nice. Maybe we should have a race to 400. I need as much fire as possible to get back up that ladder. It's insane how much i've fallen from not hitting consistent workouts since september. I hit 400lb in late August. I'm not sure where I'm at now but 250 3x8 wasn't super easy last night. haha

On! Your muscle memory will probably kick in pretty soon, but I'll take it anyway.

Those are awesome Barbell curl #'s!!! WOW dude!! Is that pretty strict form on those?

Also, just a thought, maybe try incorporating back on a day you do a push lift? Say bench or tri's? You might be surprised......Or maybe you're like me and HATE working back :tongue

Thanks, Chris! The 185s were cheated, 135s much more strict but usually I can get into the 160s with decent form. Today I was feeling off, so there was more cheat than usual. I think the heaviest I done yet is 214 x 3. But, my best STRICT is about 160 x 1.

I do usually try to work opposite muscle groups and try to avoid doing back/biceps, chest/tris etc on the same day, but I switched things up a little this week for the joy of it. I do notice that my bench seems to be better after warming up with rows, too.

Now that you mentioned it, I checked, and the last time I set a bench PR was on a heavy push/pull day:

Yep! That's how I trained for a long time! And I hit some great #'s! I love the speed and m.e days now though....

Great curl #'s! Jeez, my elbows would fall off If I tried that much!

Very brief deadlift session today. All pulls are no belt, as always.

I wasn't expecting a PR. Everything up to 435 felt like garbage, but once I pulled 435 I was feeling pretty good, so I went for it.

For the record, I had Chinese food for lunch.
