Good stuff man!

Ha, I try not to think about it.

Side note - I'm doing a direct comparison of Jack3d vs. Superpump250, myself being the Guinea pig. I've gone through almost an entire container of SP250, and I'm 3 days into Jack3d. I'm going to finish off the container of Jack3d, then switch back to the last few scoops of SP250 I have so I can directly compare which I like best.

Friday, 12/3/10

Two of my buddies came over to lift. Good workout.

Deadlifts:

Lame.

Lots of warm-up pulls. Worked up to 420 x 1. Haven't pulled for a few weeks, though.

Barbell rows:

315 x 5

275 x 5

T-bar rows:

200 x 25 (this was on a bet that I couldn't hit 20 reps)

200 x something...fried by now

Close-grip bench (12" grip):

135 x 10

225 x 4

255 x 4

275 x 3

305 x 2 - PR! (previous best was 295 x 1)

315 x 1 - PR x 2!

325 x 0 (failed just before lockout...almost)

Off boards:

315 x 1, 3 boards

305 x 2, 2 boards

225 x 11, 2 boards

Tricep press downs

Single pulley.

70 x 8

100 x 11 (my one buddy hit 12 here)

110 x 5 + 1 ugly one

100 x 15 (buddy hit 20 here)

70 x 30

At the end of everything, my grip was actually feeling pretty good. Haven't hit grippers in about one half-life of plutonium, but I decided to give Brent's 197lb RB330 a squeeze. Got it down to about 5mm. I won't complain about that.

Yeah, he's pretty strong. He recently deadlifted 500, too.

That is amazing. Your lifts aren't too shabby either :rock. This is a great log. I will follow it.

Just saw that you closed (or ultra close) the 197lb RB330! That's wicked strong!

Thanks Ben! It was pretty close. Couldn't really tell on the video, but it didn't feel or look (in person) closed.

Thanks man. My deads are my Achilles heal right now. Went from pulling 525, down to 405 in a matter of months. It's driving me crazy.

Frank,

When you do your hammer curls, you are using a tricep bar right? Do you ever incorporate individual dumbbells when doing them? The reason I ask is I have a nagging sore left wrist and hammer curls are the only bicep work I can do free of pain right now...
