Magnus
Btw, one other thing. During my bicep workout on Monday, I managed to work in an 80lb(80 in plates + handle, whatever that is) dumbbell strict curl. Biceps weren't feeling 100%, but I still managed to pull it off twice. I'll try to get in on video next week.

Jedd Johnson
Frank, if you want to get the fire burning again, you can get it started this weekend at my place. We are having a World's Strongest hands contest, as well as a full qualifier for next season's National championship. Call me if you need more info. We are starting at 11. Magnus
Really good time at Jedd's today. Despite total lack of training (1 year off from grip/9mos. from powerlifting), I matched my best 2HP from last year's GGC (203.9lb) and got 3 more pulls on the Inch in (which makes a total of 6 pulls ever - 1 right hand and 5 left hand). Really need to work on getting my overall strength back up. I was having a tough time on the 303lb DO axle deads for reps. Ordinarily 300lb deads would be child's play, but I was (and still am) really feeling those. Grippers are off, but the Vulcan was still fun. Never used one before. Wrist developer = . That thing's about as much fun as the Weaver stick. Block-weight thing that Brent came up with was awesome. We used a 37.5 blob and two tables. Pick it up off one table, set it on the other. Each time you touch a table counts as a rep. Jedd got 72 reps, I got 50-something, and Brent got 44(I think?). Glad he thought that one up, since it was one of only two things I managed to beat him at today
Magnus
Monday, 9/13/10 Feels good to be doing this again. Bench: Went really light to get back into things again. 205 x 10 205 x 10 205 x 10 That's all I did, since pretty much everything else is still trashed from Jedd's Saturday. Magnus
Friday, 9/18/10 Oh how the mighty have fallen. Barbell rows: 205 x 10 205 x 10 205 x 10 Dumbbell rows: 112 x 12 112 x 12 Fortunately, these all felt kind of easy.
Magnus
Lemme see if I can remember any of this. Monday, 9/20/10 Barbell curls: 135 x 10 135 x 10 Hammer curls: 50 x 12 50 x 12 Bench: Worked up to 300 Tuesday. 9/21/10 Barbell rows: 135 x 10 135 x 10 205 x 10 235 x 10 245 x 12 Don't remember what else I did. Wednesday, 9/22/10 Seated barbell press: 70 x 12 70 x 12 135 x 10 155 x 6 In between here I went to jump to 205, because I really felt like I could handle that. When I went to clean the bar, the left side got caught on a filing cabinet, and tweaked something in my left shoulder. 155 x 8 - weight felt easy, but shoulder felt weird. Strict lateral raises: 30 x 14 30 x 14 Reverse flyes: Barely did these because they were really making my shoulder feel bugged out. Well, another couple of week workouts in the books. Didn't lift today because I'm sick, which stinks because I was going to do deads. Oh h'well. Now that I've got my light re-introductory week out of the way, I'll start moving some serious weight Monday...hopefully.
Magnus
These are just projected numbers I want to try to hit in my next few workouts, sans warm-ups, of coarse. Attempting to plot a course in steady increments back to where I was a few months ago. Based off of how I felt during the past week of getting back into things, I feel this list realistic. MondayBarbell curls (previous best - 195lb x 2 sets of 5 + 1 set of 4) 145 x 10145 x 10Bench (previous best - 345):Work up to 315DB incline bench (previous best - 110 x 2 x 10):90 x 2 x 10TuesdayDeadlifts (previous best - 525lb, no belt):450WednesdayBarbell rows (previous best - 331 x 2 x 6):255 x 2 x 10Skull crushers (previous best - 145 x 2 x 10, strict)120 x 2 x 8ThursdaySeated barbell strict press (previous best - 197 x 6)185 x 5 Again, just some rough guesstimating, but something I'm going to try to hold myself to. These are also just the meat-and-potatoes lifts I'm listing here, not the fillers (lateral raises, pull-downs, flyes, etc).

Magnus
Pipes McGee is on his way back! Damn strong Frank! Thanks, Jason! Amazing how lifting can make you feel at least non-useless. Tuesday, 10/12/10 Deadlifts: Worked up to 430 x 1. These are still bloody pathetic, but it's 20lb better than last week. Which is weird, btw, because it wasn't that long ago that I was repping 450. These went downhill fast somewhere along the line.
