skipping workout today.. sickday.. and starting the intermediate program on monday.. hoho cant wait

gah.. no gym for a week now... still a bit sick.. found my old pinchplates and started pinching again.. atleast something to do. they are 10kg each and im not sure about thickness..

Last week I lifted while I was sick (had the cold for two weeks, skipped the first week, but didn't want to miss another week). For every workout, I even upped the weights from my previous workout when I wasn't sick. Thought I was going to bloody DIE the first day, but amazingly enough, I felt pretty good afterwords. Every day I did it, it got easier until the cold was gone. So, you may just wanna give it a try and push through it.

hm. maybe i should. thinking about going tomorrow and starting the new program. its called "The Texas method" cant wait =D

its the intermediate version of my 5x5 program . i'll try to write it up

Reps x Sets

Day 1 Squat 80% 5x2 - Press 6x3 - Bench 1/2/3Rm - Rows 5x5 - Chinups 5RM.

Day 2 Squat 5RM - Press 80% 5x2 - Bench 6x3 - Rows 80% 5x2 - Chinups 5x5.

Day 3 Squat 5x5 - Press 1/2/3RM - Bench 80% 5x2 - Rows 5RM - Chinups 80% 5x2.

the 1/2/3RM's is up to me what i do that day

Day 1

Squat 90kg 5x2 .

Press 60kg 6x3

Bench 1RM 100kg . tried 102.5 but failed.. not completely fresh after being sick. anyways.. a good pr

Rows Re-learned the technique on the standing version. so i played it kool with 50kg 5x5

Chins 5RM + 20kg . failed on last rep. was pretty close though

was in the mood for some bending today.. sore as hell after last nite.. but what the hell

nothing outstanding but i bent 2 1/4"x7" Squares as warmup. then i bent a bastard that got a bit offcenter.. wanted to try something bigger and i kinked a Huge bastard.. after a pause and a trip to the store i wanted to try a hexabastard.. kinked it pretty good. but i was out of gas by then.. well well.. gonna get it next time :p

Squat 100kg 5x5 felt weak so i played it kool. .. again :<

Press 1RM 70kg pr!

Bench 70kg 5x2

Rows 5RM 70kg PR!

chins 5x2 + 8.75kg

Press 55kg 5x2

Rows 50kg 5x2

Chins 5x5 + 16.25kg PR!! and i did 6 reps on last set. missed by a hair on the 7th :)

thank you. im pretty pleased with them. :)

did some random pinch last nite aswell. used my 2 pinch plates and did 5 sec holds and passed it to the other hand . repeated untill i couldnt hold them at all.. then i did some sets on my #2 and finnished up with a round on the formulator

Day 3

Squat 5-5-3 112.5kg then i did 6 reps on 100kg and 2x3 with 60kg slow down fast up.. weak as hell today

Chins 5x5 BW

Rows 5RM 65kg . same as last time. but i think i wrote up 70 then :F

Bench 70kg 5x2

press 1RM 70kg . got it up 2 times

random gripping today. warmed up with some reps on the #1 and BBM . the goal was to close my RB210 .. was less than 1 mm off! its calibrated at 59kg / 130lbs .. well well... i know i'll get it soon.. its easier than my 2.5

need some new goals with the new program..

Bench 100kg 6x3 . Squat 120kg 5x5 . press 70kg 6x3 .. wanna be able to do this before august. then i have been training for 1 year :p
