EricMilfeld
I forgot to mention in my last post that I also tore a deck of hard Gold Crowns and got a good bodybuilding pump with a device I won as part of my prize package from Gripmas Carol. It's like a pocket wrist roller. Climber, does this device have a name? You probably told me already. It's a pretty cool little gizmo consisting of two handles that rotate on the same axis with the tension adjustable via heavy rubber bands. Think motorcycle grips. EricMilfeld
I tried a Diamond Classic #00 for the first time today and was pleased to finish it right at 180 degrees with the last 20 being a chore and half. PR! Pesky 2" V-bar LEFT: 232.2 x 1 x 3 217.1 x 3 240.1 x 1 RIGHT: 232.2 x 0 x 4 217.1 x 5 That about sums up my v-bar experience. I miss 232 four times with my right, while lifting it easily left handed three times, finishing with 240, and then go on to get two more reps right handed than I did left handed using the identical weight. No rhyme or reason. 2.5" Loadable Dumbbell LEFT: 156.3 x 1 (PR!!) 156.3 x 0 - Rows w/ a stack of plates weighing 250 for 7 reps RIGHT: 156.3 x 0 x 2 I use 35 pound plates on my dumbbell to increase the amount of rotation. The Mac
Eric, I use 20kg plates to increase the rotation, it is a good idea.
EricMilfeld
Eric,I use 20kg plates to increase the rotation, it is a good idea. I'll have to try that next time and see how much more difficult it is.
jad
Nice pullups. Basically I just kept fooling around with my toys until I got a PR. Ha! That's what I need to start doing!
EricMilfeld
Nice pullups. Basically I just kept fooling around with my toys until I got a PR. Ha! That's what I need to start doing! It does keep the motivation factor high. Bending - 6" 555 lb. crs - 6.25" Shiny to 97 degrees - 6" 715 lb. Edgin to 91 degrees - 3/8" HKT bolt cut to 6.5" to roughly 60 degrees - 6" 685 lb. Edgin to 60 degrees (By now my hands are blistering, and I'm apparently pooped.)
EricMilfeld
Horseshoes - DC "00" Heeled - DC "00" These both went real fast and easily. But I still couldn't finish off that #1 Bronco stuck at 160 degrees.
EricMilfeld
1.5" Wooden Pinchblock - 176 x 1 x 3 - 182 x 0 x 2 This is a very difficult width for me. It's quite painful for the knuckles. Grippers - 157 lb. parallel set x 1 - 143 x 5 parallel reps (PR!!!) That set of five was done on my Captain of Crush cert gripper and eclipses my old record, achieved several years ago when I was focusing on grippers, by 2 reps! I'll tell you what, training with the choker has proven very useful, with much carryover for both parallel sets and no-sets. Bench Press 269 x 4 Blob 50 Right: x 1 x 3 + 2.5 lbs. x 1 (PR!) Left: x 4 negatives Hammer Curls 60 x 10 (each hand)

EricMilfeld
5 reps with a #3 is outstanding Eric. I was surprised by it, and was only hoping for a PR of 4 reps. Thanks, man!

EricMilfeld
Thanks guys! I'm pretty confident I could do the MM1 now, and quite possibly the MM2, as well. Oddly enough, my sets are feeling stronger. I'm not sure why, but I suspect all the pinch work and even the choker work is helping me. When I failed on the MM1 a few years back I was really struggling with the set, but still managed to come within 1/16" of closure.
EricMilfeld
2" Axle Deadlifts 415 x 9 I then put a 215 pound #4 in a parallel choker and moved it about 1/8". Super tough gripper! 2" V-bar Left: 232.2 x 0 x 2 217.1 x 4 Right: 232.2 x 1 x 2 217.1 x 5 I then took a 665 lb. big grade 8 I had just finished calibrating for Aaron and took it from 30 degrees to 45 degrees, and felt like I had done something! Crazy bolt! Also, 14 pullups off a shallow ledge.

EricMilfeld
Grippers w/ Mash Monster Set 157 x 1 161 x o 157 x 1 161 x 1 (PR!!!) The 161 pounder was done on my adjustable Elite provided by Aaron Corcorran. I love being able to adjust my gripper, and have since ordered an adjustable Super Elite. The spring depth at that calibration rating was set at Mash Monster 2 level. This workout performed last night was unplanned. I just got the bug. odin
Eric, you've been training hard for years, and now everything is coming together-you are evolving into a true grip master. :rock Great gripper PR and I'm sure the MM1, MM2 and beyond will be crushed by you soon. When I read 415x9 in the axle, I almost ________, but then realized it probably wasn't DO-but that still got a "wow" from me.
