Was this on the new plates? Nice work buddy!

yeah, it was on the new plates. they aren't exactly smooth any more but, they're still pretty shiny. And, I STILL need to grind down the edges some more.

the levers were all very weak. I'm sure it's from lack of training them and the front end of the work out.

had injured my right thumb on 6/6/11. I've been rehabbing it and it seemed to be okay. last night tried some wide pinch and it was a no go. will give it a couple more days and avoid wide pinch for a while.

injured my right ring finger at the jackson highlander. I can close my hand about enough to hold an empty toilet paper tube. then the pain. I don't think it's that bad because I can move it around pretty well with my other hand. today will be contrast baths and golf ball rotations to try and get the blood moving. this totally sucks.

Damn buddy, heal quickly. Have you been to a doctor? I hope things heal up by the contest. I was looking forward to pushing you a bit.

no doc. I hyperextended/jammed my right ring finger. I idn't really feel it training except grippers. I guess I'll lay off those completely right handed and see how I feel. I'm hitting the PT all day every day. and I'm icing every night. hopefully it will be back up by the 16th.

Any chance the area is still highly inflamed?

the inflamation hasn't been bad enough to see at any point. the joint feels a little funny like there's something extra in there. I would say that right now it feels 85% for sitting here. it seems like traction on that finger is the most painful. ie, grippers or certain pulling motions if my hand doesn't line up just so. I seem to have full range of motion though.
