barbe705
I'm getting better and smarter about time off. the week after gripmas I went to Andrew's and we played with some atlas stones. I was taped up but no tacky. this made them much harder and I strained my bicep tendons. so, even after they felt better I still took a little break. I should be hitting the grip regularly from this point forward with, a bit of an odd schedule through the holidays.

I can't believe your stingy ass hasn't bought a Euro or made your own yet. All the contests you do and you still keep that cash in your waller for the moths. barbe705
When are you coming up to train again? When are you going to start the MM1 Ladder Climb? my stingy ass can't manage to buy a euro and I don't know any one around here to make one. also, I use all my money driving up to your place. I won't be up to your place until the end of march. as soon as I get back from iceland I plan to start the MM ladder and get #3 certified. right now I'm just focusing on the trip. I do my gripper work at the gym and almost never record it here. I have been doing some wide stuff and plan to start using a card shortly. training may have to slow down for a minute since I seem to have torn up my calf a little. I hate wrist curls. front levers 8# 5x1 both hands. left was choked. I didn't really feel anything after wards. I need to do a lot more front levers per session. reverse wrist curls 3x20 womens axle. rico300zx
Brent, If you were hitting 210 the other week and way more than that at comps why so happy about 160 on the 2hp, that weight seems like it would be a warmup for you. You mentioned you tweeked your finger, did you get hurt really bad? Or did you switch pinch setups? Parris

Parris the 160 was for 5 after a bunch of sets.for rep work that's a good number for me. at home I only pinch on 2x45 so my numbers vary quite a bit from what I do on a real set up. barbe705
Good excuse on the Euro. How is the Calf? I ended up taking a deload week. at the end of that week I had a massage. by that point it was almost 100% and there didn't seem to be anything wrong by sunday. went walking with the dog this morning for 1.5 hours and it was fine. so, it seems to be all better. barbe705
Cool log, is the 60# red rafter a type of 60 hex block weight? IT's a loadable thin pinch/wrist curl from stronger grip. I have it loaded for thin pinching right now. I also use it for wrist and plate curls.

barbe705
1/20/11 thin 2hp 120 3x5 block weight circuit once through and a little more. for some reason it was super cold in the basement and everything was really cold to the touch. I found that I had to take quite a bit of time between sets on the 2hp pinch for my hands to warm back up. same with the block weights. it just felt like I was going to hurt something if I kept it up so I called it early. I'm sure that the 4 degree low for tonight will help warm things up down there.
