These squats were absolute shit, but they all felt easy and I haven't squatted in months. No resolution bullcrap, I just got tired of being tired of training and wanted to get back. So I got off my ass and did just that.

It is a 2" bar, yes. My best ever DO pull on a 2" bar was 287 at BBB3 in Oct. 2007. There was no pause required at the top then and since that time I haven't pulled more than 275 in comp :( Thickbar is just not my friend.

265 for two reps is very impressive as well, I was jumping up and down after I hit 200 x 2, I had no spotters so I kinda had to do it haha

Had an awesome workout at Larkin's yesterday. I don't remember everything but here are some of the highlights:

I haven't really messed with grippers in any serious sense in months. Gripmas was probably my last serious encounter with them. My right wrist has been really funky and cracky since working levers hardcore a few months ago and it just hasn't been a fun thing to train grippers or wide pinch. When closing even a reletively difficult gripper, my wrist goes through a dull pop that occasionally leaves an ache that lingers for a few minutes but doesn't effect strength. It has started to feel a bit better lately so I went after my #3 last night and managed a solid close and came with 1/4" lefty. I haven't lost it yet!

Closed my #3 again tonight and came even closer lefty. I dare say that I have somehow become stronger in grippers during my hiatus from grip. 2HP tomorrow.

great job on the 3 both hands soon! I guess a brake from the grippers was a good thing, Ive had that myself taking 3 weeks off and closing a gripper that I was struggling with before

Messed about today. I ended up doing one small glam workout. I feel somewhat emasculated for working just biceps, abs and the treadmill today, but I think I'll win in the end when I'm prettier then all you pugs.

Benched last night. I felt like crap for some reason, so I left early. I was planning on some light DL's, but I know better than to pull anything when I feel the way I did last night.

Did a little bench comp today. Hit 275 and missed 290. I managed to get 290 a bit off my chest before it's inevitable return to my chest. Had an awesome time.

435xhalfway, this is 5lbs less than my all time pr. Everytime I go for this weight, it just hovers off the floor and grinds up. This one was no different. It took at least 2 seconds to get it to my knees before I had to drop it.

Did a bit of incline pressing up to 185, wasn't feeling it after the deadlifts.

I did a few tilted lifts of my 2.5" loadable 126lb DB and held it almost tilt-less at the top a few times both hands. I can also get it solidly off the ground without tilt. I'm close. I loaded it up to 146 and did a few tilt lifts then did some tilted-negatives with 166.
