put away a few 60d's and did isometics on a warped G8. ..Ended with sledge and blob lifts

8mm is about the same diameter as a red. 8mm is .002 bigger.

No,

my best DU attempt on a Red still is a 1/2" warp. :blush

My wrists are still sore from Flo's visit last friday. :whacked

So I need a bit of rest before hitting bars hard again.

Franky,

G8 and Red's are crazy talk. I admire folks who can do this type of bends any style never mind reverse!

Well I have one G8 bolt and will leave it quite a while before I have a go.

Yes, G8s are like precious little diamonds over here. :D

However, if you need some just tell me.

I guess, I will definately have a shoot for a G8 reverse style at the upcoming germans.

Been a long time since any reverese style so I just hit (2) 60d nails and brought the first to 90 and the second to 75ish. I did not have any Grade 5s so I wrapped up a G8X6" and gave her a whirl and well, she took out a chip out dipped it and told me I had weak sauce. I set down the straight and narrow lass and walked home in shame. Gonna get some G5s today I think, I remember their moral flexibility to be, well more flexible...

Just saw Amaury lurking in.

I knew he was a great reverse bender.

Hopefully this thread hits his buttons and he joins. :D

Mind if I join in on this? Not in the same league as you guys, but this will get me motivated. I managed to bend a blue pretty easily and think with some training I can get some bigger stuff.

Sure, fine with me. I down for a bit, I think I strained my left bicep a little.

Got a 6" Grade 5 bolt tonight - PR for me.

On a side note, I got a line on 6" Grade 5 bolts for $.19 cents ea ( .69 cents for G8's) - seems like a fair price to me (considering I paid .75 cents at the hardware store).

Didn't get the 60 deg. But I got a wabble out of a G8......my right wrist is swollen.......just going with ice for now and my fingers are tingly.Probably inflamed something around a nerve.

This is brutal!!

I am humbled....

That 267.5kg bar must be close to a G8. :bow

Nice going.

Morgan,

Great bending, and good prices on the bolts.

Burner,

The G8 looks a toughy. It'll be interesting to see who does it first. My wrist is strengthening all the time with this, and the thumb webbing is toughening up now. Keep going!

Franky,

I only have one G8 bolt so I'm waiting till I feel ready. But last night was good, and maybe I could have damaged the G8 somewhat? Another day. Hope you nail a biggie today.

David
