choker set to 2", managed to get 3 closes! That was good, but i had to fight a bit... I will let this stay for awhile in this set.. Lefty is getting better and better..

after the #3, i did no set closes with #1.

RH 30 no-set reps with #1

LH 20 no-set reps with #1

i couldn't do the JAG on the #3, so i will put it on #1 for the no-set closes..

Grippers, still 2" inch choker setup..

I did a early afternoon, and evening workout.

(all right hand, i did some LH work, but not very good.. )

IN early afternoon:

Warmup #1- 10 reps

#2- 4 singles

#3 choker- 4 closes

#1 100 reps, babyreps..

Evening

Warm up #1- 10 reps

#2- 3 singles

#3- 2 closes

#1- 120 babyreps (click, click, click, click) PR

Aah, back to grippers again.. After all the mess that happened with my girl yesterday, i tried to go back at the grippers again.. Still, next week is another meet and i can't go there lookin' like a nancy :D

Like Dan suggested, i opened up the choker.. But, more than 2inch, and the choker slides off, so i thought, why not a credit card set today?

Warm up

#1-BH 10 reps

#2-BH 2 reps

#3-RH 2" choker, miss

#3- RH CC set, missed (no chalk) (i knew i could if i tried a bit harder)

#3-RH CC set, chalked up, closed!! PR

i tried the cc set. 1/8th away.

Give me a couple months i think.

Damn by that time theo will be closing the 4 at the rate hes going :D

Right hand:

2 closes with wide set

6 choker closes set to 1,5" This was done in an extended period, 5 closes in 15 minutes, 15 minutes rest and then another 10 minutes.

I realize i havent missed a close for a very long time, except at failure ofcourse..

I feel bad that i dont wite down my workouts as often, its just that im working on a goal gripper now and im about 1/16. Its my HARD #3.

Im doing one attempt a day right now.

Right now your in the lead dutch, but im gunan trying to catch up :)

man, you should catch up, because you CAN!

Franky, lefty i cam about 1cm away of closing #3. But due to bending my hands are ALWAYS sore lefty..... Can't train as often as i should.

dadams, what i am bending? Pfff, i am ashamed to tell you.. I bend 6mmx160mm that is 6mm, is the thickness, and 160mm is around 6,5" in length.. So that is not good. Very bad, to say the least. In my defense, i started around 3 months ago..

Well, lots of things happening. Just had a good competition in swiss. I almost beat Jim Wylie his V-bar record. I am now 2nd on the list.

Grippers i did good, closed the #3, and even did a cc close afterwards. I did the SM righty, almost getting the GM, but not yet...

V-bar, went just fine..

Two hand pinch, it was ok. Didn't expect much of it, Franky already had it, before we started....

OH lift, first time. Felt awkward. I think the handle was too high, and had to stand on wooden planks. I think i could do better with some right training.

Bending. What's there to say. I suck at it. I will train this hard, but it goes slow. It's just not my cup of tea...

Tonight i did some grippers again. Felt ok.

3 creditcard closes RH

5 attempts at the #3 LH

I sent a mail to Strossen. It took a week, but he found a witness. Next week i will certify on the #3, at the Strongest Dutchman Contest. The witness will be Marcel Mostert! He is an official at the IFSA strong man contests, and is one of the founders of IFSA..... It's really cool! He invited me to come over, and get certified. I am a bit nervous, because maybe they will have me perform that feat in front of some big guys.... But hey, if they laugh, i will just hand them that #3!!!! :tongue

well, it's time to get serious, i'll make a plan of attack for the euros...

Grippers, i want a 3.0 close left, and a 3.2 or so for RH...

Two hand pinch, goal is to get at least 90kg.. I lift on my wooden block 45kg, and that transferred to 77kg last weekend. So on my own thing i should lift at least 60kg

Vertical bar, break Jim Wylie his record, get around 170kg.

OH lift, i hope to get at least 250-260 both hands... Don't know how to train for it yet, but i'll figure it out..

Bending, well, at home i have some very hard nails, i want to bend at least a hard 6,5mm or so...

Grippers every other day

Pinch 3 times a week. Almost every other day...

Vertical, one time a week, wednesdays..

OH lift, didn't figure it out, but probably once a week

Bending, high volume once or twice a week...
