RH HG300 4 attempts ..CLOSED IT THREE TIMES..held it closed 3rd time for 3 secs!! Definite new PR!!...can't believe it..

Was in shock so rechoked the BBSM as last GG attempt and CLOSED IT again

LH #2 clicked it x 3 times and held for 3 secs last time..PR !! missed 2 attempts

1/16, 1/8

RH #2 10 secs...click and hold..felt easy

LH HG 250 7-10 secs

Notes:

HIT MY NEW KTA GOAL !!!!!!!! Again since 2 days ago!!

HG300 was in choker too...set was closer to parallel than BBSM..making them

close to equal..but even if difference is .1 or .2...2.7-2.9 Can I actually distinguish that? Strapholds are getting much easier and probably helping a great deal, this is my second week trying them.

Yesterday was active R/R...doubled normal protein and milk ingestion...took

1 1/2 hour nap and slept 9 hours last night...Woke up feeling very strong but with sore knuckles.

Afterwards, just for giggles...exhausted after this great workout, I tried my

2004 #3 without a choker and a set wider than parallel...missed by 3/8"

It no longer feels like a brick...I now know I will close it too....in time.

New Goal Gripper...the #3 IM 2004...I have no choice!!

If you are new to gripping start off the right way...get KTA for Xmas.

You will close that #3 of yours in no time.

workout this week, then final 2 week peaking phase of KTA.

The increases were in anticipation of next week. I am pooped!!

Paul, great job on all the PRs! Have you closed your Cert SM (TNS) yet? I saw that you had closed it in a choker, which is excellent. Keep it up. I'm sure you'll slam that #3 in no time.

I am not currently training no set...the MM0 cert and MM1 is more of a priority

to me right now...I have no idea if I can no set it but think the answer is no.

I want to work on the crush with a set..that seems to be rapidly improving as of late. Once I get past the first two certs mentioned and am going for COC with

a credit card...that is when I will train no sets too.

Paul, I know you had posted before that you were focusing on the MM and IM certs...I only asked about the TNS Cert because I thought maybe you were so hooked, like us all, that you were doing some surreptitious gripper work. :D

I understand Ben...I can only spread my self so thin, so it seems, I am getting great results with the set. My sweep is very good...I want to work exclusively

on crushing them down. I believe the no set part will be easier to catch up on

for me IMHO. I really like this idea of specialization with KTA. I am totally focused,

almost obsessed with it.

Knuckles are really sore!! I am used to this...the increases in everything

make your hands ACHE...then it is followed by strength increases...this is my

pattern...SAID. Left hand is still getting stronger..while right is aching

Notes:

Palms of hands still really sore from callous ripping off last week, also

developing blister under LH callous. These are making my setting of the gripper

exactly right a real hassle...handle sliding in palm. I did the 3/16 on the #3

when I firmly planted the doglegged handle into my palm..the other efforts are

still sliding. Even with the tape on the palms there is still sliding..it is harder to feel.

I have 2 weeks left of KTA and need to resolve this set...injury problem somehow!!

2004 #3 is like a piece of granite in the last 1/4...

Hands not hurting and all these attempts didn't make my knuckles ache...

hope some adaptation is taking place. Left hand was weaker today.

Working out every other day now..seems like it is hardly at all compared

to KTA's earlier pace.

Really feeling weak today, I am trying to shake some bodyfat..that has been successful but the calotie deficit has left me feeling a bit lethargic and weak.

Dropped 2% BF while maintaining BW...but tired and weak today..didn't even finish

workout. 3 workouts left every other day..I am going to eat normally and get some good rest...also had a turbulent personal weekend.

Nice log...i will have to start my own..i just started KTA and i need to keep track of what i am doing
