Roughly once a week but since i messed up my back a couple months ago, all of my training has been sporadic. I've been feeling mostly back to normal the last couple weeks so its time to get back on a solid training schedule. From reading around the forum, it looks like more people are making the most progress on grippers by training once per week, so i'll be doing that.

Sorry to hear that man, there is nothing worse than injuries derailing progress but I always think when it's myself injured that it could be worse. I tore my glute deadlifting in may and it took until September to heal. In that time I strained my left AC joint and when that healed I strained my right rotator cuff so I've barely been able to train legs or pushing movements. A nightmare for me but Im just grateful I could train something in that time. At least it's getting back to normal for you and yes a lot of people train grippers once per week. It varies so much though, some train them daily. Its all about finding out what works best for you.
Mitch Jones
Upper body day. I've had a personal trainer for a while now at Crunch Fitness but I've reached a point where its time to stop spending the money on it. I'll be continuing a similar program since what I've been doing has been working pretty good for me and I'll start documenting that here. Program will pretty much be one full body day geared more toward conditioning, one upper body day, and one lower body day per week. Bench Press 95 x12, 135 x10, 155 x6, 185 x5, 135 x10 Pec Deck 80 x12, 100 x10, 120 x10, 140 x10 Shoulder Press machine (orange) 58 x12, 98 x10, 118 x10, 138 x8 Lat Pull Down wide neutral thick handle 88 x12, 110 x10, 143 x8, 187 x4 Chest Supported Row 90 x10, 90 x10, 90 x10 Superset Biceps and Triceps Tricep Extension overhead rope 38 x12, 44 x12, 49 x10 Biceps Curls cable rope 38 x12, 38 x10, 38 x10 Rear Delt Cable Fly 13 x10, 13 x10, 13 x10
Mitch Jones
Blobs - right hand / One hand nightmare 2 3/8 handle - left hand I'll be giving bending a short break, if I'm able, its too much fun. I've lost feeling in part of my middle finger on my left hand and my palms ache all the time. Once they heal I'll bend only once per week. I'll train Grippers with right hand and key pinch with the left one day. Third grip day in a week will be Thick bars left hand and blobs right hand. I think this will give me plenty of variety without over training. After a few months I'll switch things up. Napalm's One Hand Nightmare 2 3/8" Handle - Left hand only 82 x10, 107 x3, 107 x1 102 x1 - 7 second hold, 102 x1 - 3 second hold Blobs - Right hand only Half 65 - 3 singles Half 75 assisted - 2 singles assisted with 1 finger from off hand Half 75 - 3 singles Half 85 assisted - 2 singles assisted with 1 finger from off hand

Thats a big part of the reason my progress with bending is sooooo slow. Woke up in the middle of the night after DOing two bright 60ds which are very hard at least for me, complete numbness both hands from elbow to pinky and ring fingers. Came back very gradually over the course of a few days. Believe it or not it could stem from your neck. get well soon
Mitch Jones
Lower body today. Gym was really busy, I haven't been on a Saturday in probably a year. I didn't have time to get done what I wanted to get done so I improvised a lot. I did single leg SLDL to keep from putting too much stress on my back which felt ok at 60lbs. Mitch Jones
Grippers, Right hand. Key pinch, Left hand. I forgot how awful my left hand's key pinch is, so this was probably a good move to train that. My right hand's key pinch is much further along since my grip on a knife when cutting meat for 19 years was basically a key pinch. Hands are recovering well from bending and I'll likely bend sometime this week... maybe tomorrow. Mitch Jones
Bending today. I think it was a little too soon. My hands were not quite ready. Really gave it my all though. My next bending session needs to be light-ish and work back up over the next several weeks. Restraint is hard. Either way, today I was happy with my effort. Finger is still partially numb but didn't bother me when bending. Palms were what took a beating, very quickly. All DO in IMP and Horrido pads IM Yellow nail for a warmup Horrido A2 cut to 6". Great start. Took about 2 minutes to get down to the crush, then stalled out. Hands were too sore to continue the pressure needed to finish it. Although i'm not sure if my crush is strong enough with my hands in good shape. 7 minutes total spent on this thing. 9/32 x 7" O1. Went down easy. 9/32 x6" O1. Failed on crush. Hands too sore. Mitch Jones
Everything in my apartment is completely covered in chalk dust, so I'm going to start using liquid chalk to prevent the mess. Only exception would be on a cert, but I rarely do those, mostly from lack of ability. I'm going to take Finnish ball out of my key pinch day, maybe replace it with a coin lift. Finnish ball bothers my index finger on my left hand but not my right. Mitch Jones
Bending today. All light stuff, nothing I had to strain on. I had one small place on one finger starting to open up, and a spot on another finger that looks like it blistered but didn't pop, so I stopped bending. 20 60d brights all DO in IMP. I gripped a little closer to the middle than normal to make it a little more about wrist and a little less about leverage.

Just very little, just keep hitting it until you finish it, the crush is easy on red nails, it's the kink and sweep that are the hardest part. Once you get it to crushing position you will finish it easy. First time I bent a red nail I was going at it for one hour (with rest included ofc). Mitch Jones
Bending today. Just a 60d bright to warm up then iso on the red nail from last work out. 8 hits over 30 minutes and it moved 6 degrees. I stopped after my right middle finger split and started bleeding. Very small split, but I stopped before it got worse. Other than that I felt good to continue. I'll keep my hands hydrated with the Climb On lotion bar that Horrido recommends on his site so that spot on my finger is less brittle and more elastic. Fun but short session.
