Mitch Jones
Saxon and Hub today. Performance on saxon was a little less than last week. Probably a combination of factors: Which side of the bar I'm grabbing, time of day (I seem to perform stronger later in the day), chalk on the implement and hands...etc. Hit a PR on hub with both hands. 43.5 up from 40lb last time. Could have been because I was warmed up from doing saxon first. Good workout. 3x4 Saxon AASS For reps 80 x3 | 120 x3 | 135 x3 | x3 | x2 | 132 x2 Holds 130 x9s | x5s | 125 x10s Hub GG For reps Right 25 x1 | 30 x1 | 35 x1 | 40 x1 | 42.5 x1 | 43.5 x1 Left 25 x1 | 30 x1 | 35 x1 | 40 x1 | 42.5 x1 | 43.5 x1

Mitch Jones
Vertical bar today. Today I'm going to start tracking lifts as "weight added" rather than total weight. This will make tracking a lot easier. Right hand was the same as last time on reps, left hand went up 5lb. Last workout I was worn out when I started my holds for time and only did 2 sets that were basically long enough to count as a rep, not really a hold. Today I was about 10lb heavier each hand and got 3 sets at 10 seconds each. Good progress today. Jug 2.5" (weight added, not total weight) 6" lift for reps Right 40 x3 | 70 x3 | 95 x3 | 105 x3 | 110 x3 | 111 x3 Left 40 x3 | 70 x3 | 95 x3 | 105 x3 | x3 | 106 x3 Holds Right 95 x10s | 96 x10s | 97 x10s Left 95 x10s | 96 x10s | 97 x10s

As long as my setup is consistent...my progression over time is obvious.

Mitch Jones
Blobs today. Left hand lagged behind a little, but still good progress in both hands. Today I just focused on the half 85 with added weight. I'm lifting off a crash pad to keep the noise down from dropping this thing. Thumb webbing was again the reason i had to stop. Last thing I need is a tear. Good workout. Video of two best lifts below. Half 85 + weight added Right +2.5lb x6 good lifts | +3.75lb x1 broke ground Left +0lb x1 good lift, x3 broke ground | +1.25lb x1 good lift | +2.5lb x2 good lift, x1 broke ground Half 95 2 attempts each hand hoping to break the ground, but not yet. Getting closer.
Mitch Jones
Axle today. Great progress on Andrew's axle. Best set today was 207 for 3 reps, compared to 197 for 1 rep about 2 weeks ago. One day I'll have some blocks to lift on level with the crash pads. Good interlocking blocks that I could adjust height would be pricey. Maybe later this year. I'm starting a new job tomorrow. Meat cutter, like I was before and for the same company, Publix. Fun job, good pay. Andrew's Axle For reps 127 x3 | 147 x3 | 187 x3 | 192 x | 197 x3 | 202 x3 | 207 x3 Holds 187 x10s | 189 x10s | 193 x10s | 195 x9s

From what I can tell so far, the axle hits the wrists much harder when using collars real tight to keep the plates from spinning. I didn't notice any difference on the saxon though. I may need to work both one day to get a better feel for it. 1
Mitch Jones
Saxon today. Left hand was bothering me today, so this turned into a little bit shorter and light workout. No holds today. Later today will be my first day back to work in a year and I really don't need to show up with a crippled hand on day one lol. Mitch Jones
Axle, saxon, blobs today. Getting back to working and being on my feet for 8-10 hours a day took a lot out of me, so I haven't trained in a week. Today I felt good, so I trained a variety of stuff. Axle felt great and got up to 2 plates for a double and after that I tested my band setup with some holds. I trained 2" saxon today since I was going to blobs right after. Andrew's Axle For reps 127 x3 | 177 x3 | 187 x3 | 197 x3 | 207 x3 | 217 x2 Holds 177 + orange bands x7s | 8s | 6s 2" Saxon For reps 120 x3 | 140 x3 | 150 x3 | 160 x2 Blobs Half85 5 good lifts each hand Half 85 +2.5lb 2 good lifts right, 1 broke ground left

Mitch Jones
Jug, hub, and inch pinch today. Hands felt good today. Inch pinch usually bothers my right index finger and Vertical bar feels iffy with my left middle finger, but no issues today. These two fingers have been nagging injuries from overdoing it on grippers back in April. I think, as a meat cutter and just getting back to work after a year off is giving my hands enough low intensity stimulus to "rehab" them in some way, or at least I hope. We'll see in the weeks and months ahead. Lots of PRs today. I'm developing a greater respect for rest days that I wish I had when I started grip. All weights documented today are "weight added". Jug 2.5" For reps Right 95 x3 | 105 x3 | 115 x3 | 120 x2 | 117 x2 | x3 Left 95 x3 | 105 x3 | 115 x0 | 110 x2 | 107 x3 | x3 Hub For reps Right 30 x3 | 35 x3 | 36 x3 Left 30 x3 | 35 x2 | 36 x1 Inch Pinch For reps Right 30 x3 | 35 x3 | 40 x3 | 45 x3 | 47 x3 Left 30 x3 | 35 x3 | 40 x3 | 45 x1 | 47 x1

Mitch Jones
Andrew's Axle today. I got 3 reps at 217 and got a single at 222. Good progress over last week. My back continues to feel better and better but still bothers me a little after a long day at work. Getting back to cutting meat, my right wrist is starting to feel achy, but hasn't had a negative effect on my grip. Andrew's Axle For reps 127 x3 | 177 x3 | 197 x3 | 217 x3 | 222 x1 | 217 x2 Holds 197 x10s | 199 x8s | x6s
Mitch Jones
Axle, blobs today. Time passed by really quick. I didn't realize its been over 2 weeks since my last workout. I need to manage my time better. Brief workout today since its been a while. got a 5 pound increase in 1RM on Andrew's Axle and just played around with blobs. I'll do 2.5 jug and one inch pinch in a few days, then try to get back on schedule from there. Andrew's axle For reps 127 x3 | 177 x3 | 217 x2 | 227 x1 Half 85 blob 3 lifts each hand Half 90 4 assisted lifts/slow negatives each hand
