Six Barrel Shotgun
Hundredpushups program Exhaustion test Max attempt. 53 reps done. -- Closing in on my PB (60 reps). I think I will beat it when i'm done with this program. The last time I did this program I failed on the last week. Next, last week, I will begin on the next hardest level. Not the hardest since I didn't do over 60 reps. Perhaps I try to do it also on the hardest level, if I succed on the next hardest level. Six Barrel Shotgun
Just did 3 finger tip push ups in a row, PB. Previous PB was 2 in a row. My goal with this exercise is to be able to perform 10 in a row. I think this exercise is a really good challenge for me, hence of my high BW (around 120 kg today (264.5 pounds). And I think this exercise takes REALLY good on the finger tips. Haven't done this exercise much, but I think I will try to do it more often from now on. Six Barrel Shotgun
Decided to do some Coin Holds. Coin Holds with grippers Start: CoC #3, RH, 1 rep. CoC #2, LH, 1 rep. Then: RH: Set 1: Filed CoC #2.5 for about 7 seconds. Set 2: Filed CoC #2.5 for 0 seconds (fail). Set 3: CoC #2 for about 22 seconds. Set 4: CoC #2 for about 13 seconds. LH: Set 1: Filed CoC #1.5 for about 17 seconds. (PB) Set 2: Filed CoC #1.5 for about 7 seconds. Set 3: Filed CoC #1 for about 9 seconds. (Could have gone longer here, but lost focus for a seconds and dropped it..) Set 4: Filed CoC #1 for about 10 seconds. PB:s to beat is: RH: Filed CoC #2.5 for about 8 seconds. CoC #2 for about 24 seconds. LH: Filed CoC #1 for about 11 seconds. Especially filed CoC #1 could easy be beaten, if I would start with that one. I think it's the same with CoC #2, RH. Good training day.
Six Barrel Shotgun
Tried some cheat lifts with my BLOB50 just. I managed to do a lift with RH by just, with my off hand, assisting with my index finger on the thumb side. With LH I managed a cheat lift with just, with off hand, ring and pinky fingers assisting on the thumb side. TTK, Negatives RH: 18 kg x 0, 17,5 kg x 0, 16 kg x 1. The 16 kg set was holding just 3-4 seconds, but I count it as OK. LH: 12,75 kg x 1 (easy) I was going for PB, thought I had 13,25 kg on.. but I had misscounted. David, after reading your post I got a motivation boost and got an urge to try it out. Managed do do a full pinch lift with four 5 kg plates with another 2,5 kg weight hanging to them! Thanks for the idea!! Wide pinching has gotten a lot better since I got my BLOB50. Edited February 21, 2011 by Six Barrel Shotgun

Managed do do a full pinch lift with four 5 kg plates with another 2,5 kg weight hanging to them! Thanks for the idea!! Wide pinching has gotten a lot better since I got my BLOB50. Yeah I just tied them to a loop through the hole. That way the plates will still be lose. I've decided not to work with my blob for a while, and concentrate fully on the plate pinching. Might seem counterproductive since I want to lift the blob, but that is my strategy to avoid getting frustrated and discouraged. BTW have you thought about using a blob deloader in your training? Six Barrel Shotgun
I have thought about using a deloader. Rico here on the board put up a great video of how to easy make one: But right now i'm focusing mostly on cheat lifts. Six Barrel Shotgun
Wide Pinch RH: 2 succesfull lifts with four 5 kg plates + one 2,5 kg plate in a rope through the 5 kg plates. LH: No succesfull lift on four 5 kg plates. BLOB50 Negative holds RH: 2 sec holds: 3. LH: 1 sec holds: 2. Cheat lifts (No weights added) RH: Best lift was done with assisting with index finger (1 time). LH: Best lift was done with assisting with ring finger and pinky (1 time). Cheat lifts (Weight added) + 3 kg RH: 4 + 3 + 3 LH: 5 + 1 + 1 + 2 sets with 2 hands where I tried to pull up to weight as high as I could. Come a little less then chest level. -- Very low intensity today, since I had problems getting tape that did the job holding the weights.. uff Edited February 22, 2011 by Six Barrel Shotgun
Six Barrel Shotgun
Bar Twirling Vbar + 2,25 kg = 3,65 kg (8 pounds): RH: 11 rep LH: 10 rep I will from now on do this exercise also for general strenght in hands and forearms. As above. When I reach 10 reps I increase weight next workout. So next workout I will at least go for over a total weight of over 4 kg. 155 cm bar (61 inches, 5 feet) RH: 1 minute and 20 seconds (then I dropped it). LH: 40 seconds + 45 seconds (dropped it both times). Vbar with no extra weights RH: 2 minutes, 5 seconds. LH: 1 minute, 5 seconds. -- This feelt totally awesome. I think I trained strenght, dexterity and endurance with this short workout. I'm starting to really like this exercise. Thanks John Brookfield for the idea! Six Barrel Shotgun
I want to note that I earlier today closed my RB300N (RH). Was quite a bit since I done that. Haven't tried it much lately though.
David_wigren
I was at ÖKK today and tried to buy chalk. But unfortunately they were out. And I recalled that you mentioned that you had bought chalk from a gym that sells it. I would just find that extremely funny if it was you who took the last piece of chalk
David_wigren
BTW I saw that you mentioned that you had a 2HP of about 80kg. Is that on the David Horne Euro pincher?
Six Barrel Shotgun
Hahaha David! YES I bought the very last bit of piece of chalk they had. I would'a thought they had got more by yesterday though, but maybe i'm the thief here.. .. "BTW I saw that you mentioned that you had a 2HP of about 80kg. Is that on the David Horne Euro pincher?" First I must say that I really like my 2HP set up. It's the "THE TWO HANDER" from FBBC (http://www.fatbastardbarbellco.com/ECONOMYPINCH.html). A friend of my dad made a hole (50 mm in diameter) in the middle of it, so I can put it through a pipe and pinch it from that. Haven't pinched with it in a long time now though, but I really like it. Will probably not do 2HP until the snow is gone. Edited February 23, 2011 by Six Barrel Shotgun
