BLOB50

Cheat lifts (No weight added)

RH: 1 + 1 + 1 + 0

LH: 2 + 2 + 2 + 0

Nice that the LH is stronger for an exchange.. Hope to be able to cheat lift with weight added, again, soon.

Now I always cheat lift by pressing with the other hand on the thumb side, not under the blob.

Bar Twirling

I twirled with my 155 centimeters bar today (61 inches according to google).

RH: About 2 minutes of twirling.

Feelt good. Nice blood flow to the hand. Think it was good for endurance today. Still feelt good also for dexterity.

LH: About 1 min and 30 sec.

I dropped it two times. So I don't think it was long enough twirling for really nice endurance training. It was more of dexterity training today for LH.

Hundredpushups program

Week 5, day 1

Set 1: 36 reps - 36 reps done.

Set 2: 40 reps - 40 reps done.

Set 3: 30 reps - 30 reps done.

Set 4: 24 reps - 24 reps done.

Set 5: Max (at least 40 reps) - 43 reps done.

About 8 minutes rest between set 4 and 5.

Nice.

If I fail Week 5, day 2, I restart on this day.

Done some Roll Ups just. As best 1,5 kg for RH and 1 kg for LH. 1 kg for LH was not strict though.

I was doing this exercise for almost an hour. I will keep shorter Roll Ups workout in the future. After 20 minutes it wasn't much good job done, just a non strict single on 1 kg with LH. 1,5 kg for RH was done in the beginning of the workout.

Good pump in my forearms at least..

So in the future shorter Roll Ups work out, but perhaps 2 or so, instead of 1 long.

The good part of this workout was the negative with LH and the hold with RH.

Im out of magnesium, that's why I haven't been blob'in..

I have ordered more but not got it yet.

I will try to get down to a gym that sells it, tomorrow or today.

Now I have one block of magnesium. 1 block was all the gym had to offer for now.

BLOB50

I started this workout with trying to pinchlift 4 5 kg's plates (like 4 10 pounders). 2 succesful lifts with RH, none with LH.

Then blob:

Cheat lifts (No Weights added)

RH: 0 + 3 + 2

I think the 0 was due to bad technique mostly, maybe little tired from the earlier plate pinching.

LH: 2 + 3 +3

Cheat lifts (Weights added)

+ 1,25 kg

RH: 4 + 2

I was suprised to hit a 4 repper here. I think I got a better cheat lift technique finally, with the off hand.

LH: 3 + 4 + 2

Happy to hit a 4 repper here as well.

Hindu squats

Goal: 2 sets of 60 reps each. No certain time goal.

Set 1: 60 reps. Time: 2 minutes and 8 seconds.

Rest: About 5 minutes.

Set 2: 60 reps. Time: 2 minutes and 20 seconds.

PB in total reps in 2 sets.

I got my 5kg plates today. Slicker than the plates I've tried at the gym, so it's probably gonna take a while before I can do the 4 5kg plates

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I just took a quick file to roughen them up a bit, now 4 of them seems much more obtainable, if I can't get them already.

BTW Jason, stop reading my "secret" pinch work haha. I'm trying to be inkognito about this stuff :laugh

Haha, I know Jason. That's why I get nervous of you spying on me :laugh .

I tried the 5kg plates now. Made a huge difference when they weren't so slick anymore

Haha, yeah sorry for totally hijacking your thread.

The 5kg plates will be quite a feat, harder than 5 10lbs plate.

BTW did you do anything to roughen them out? Perhaps worked chalk in it, or are you just pinching them with the same slick surface as they came in?

I put some chalk on both plates on the ends, just before lifting them.

Todays workout:

Wide pinch

RH: Four 5 kg plates x 2 (reps PB)

LH: Four 5 kg plates x 1 (PB.. yay)

BLOB50

Negative holds

RH: Three 1 sec holds. One 2 sec hold at the end of the workout.

LH: Three 1 sec holds.

Cheat lifts (No weights added

RH: 1, 3

Started bad here as usually.

LH: 6 (PB), 1

Last set with LH hand here, was done with assisting (on thumb side) with only pinky, ring and long finger. Will try this again next workout, with both hands.

Cheat lifts (With weight added

+ 1,75 kg for both hands.

RH: 5, 4, 6

As usual it goes better when I add weights mysteriously.. I still think my techqnique settles in slowly, which makes this.

LH: 7, 3, 5

Will increase weight next workout. Probably to 2,5 kg.

2 hands holds

All time numbers here very roughly counted.

Set 1: + 5 kg for about 11 seconds.

Set 2: No weights added for about 11 seconds.

Set 3: Here I tried to pull up the blob for reps. Didn't pull long. Will really try to improve this one next work out.

All in all a nice BLOB50 workout.

My blob50 workouts will probably look like this, more or less, from now on. This took about 30 minutes today.
