Hi Raymo,

I'm a little over 6 feet and weigh around 280 lbs at the moment.

August 4th Wednesday

Grippers... Trainer x 20 , No3 x 5 x 2 sets , No 3.5 for 5 singles left and right.

ASugust 6 th Friday

Deadlift 2" bar 205kg x 5 x 3 sets

Thumbless deadlift 2" bar.... 180k x 5 singles

Thomas inch highpulls to headhight ... 5 sigles ,both hands

Thomas Inch deadlifts thumbless ... 5 singles each hand

Thick bar seated press .. up to 160kg

Clean and press whilst kneeling... up to pair of 120lbers x 5 reps

Thickbar wrist curls .. up to 310 lb x 5 x 3 sets

Bench..180kg x 10 x 3sets

Closegrip .. 200k x 3 x 3 sets

Grippers....No1 x 20, N0 2 X 10, No3 x 5 x 3sets

V bar... 115k x 10 x 3sets with 2" bar

Pinchgrip.. 2 x 15kg plus 10kg plate for 5 singles

My son Dan who just turned 15 lifted... 140kg deadlift front grip on 2" bar

Pinch gripped a pair of 15kg plates and pulled 95kg on v bar with 2" bar.

He also deadlifted the Middle Thomas Inch easily at 14 years old.

16th August Monday

Squats .. up to 4 sets of 10 with 200k

Deadlifts sumo.. up to 3 sets of 8 with 200k

Straight leg deadlift.. 2sets of 10 x 220k

Rows.. 200k x 8 x 2 sets

Close grip chins using two fingers of each hand... bodyweight x 10, bw plus 20k x 5, bw plus 40k x 3, bw plus 60k x 3

Leg ext, leg curl and calf work.

Abs

Wednesday 18th August

Bench.. 3 sets of 10 with 180k

Wide grip.. 2 sets of 10 160k

Narrow grip .. 2sets of 10 x 160k

Log press.. up to 140k x 5 x 3 sets

Front raises.. up to 55k x 8 x 3 sets

Lateral raises.

Hammer curls.. up to 50k dumbbell x 10 x 3 sets

Thomas Inch (Middle) clean and press 5 x 5

Kettle bells The Chain ... workd up to 48k kettlebell

Kettlebell swings .. Worked up to 112kg .. holding 3 kettlebells in one hand . 48k, 40k and 24k.

Kettlebell bentpress .. up 88k . 2 kettlebells in one hand.

One hand cleans with 2" barbell .. up to 100k

One hand deadlift with 2" barbell .. up to 120k , dropped at top.

Two finger chins.. 3 sets of 5 just bodyweight (250lbs)

One arm swings with a beast, a 40kg, and a 24kg all at once. How the heck did you manage that??? I don't even think i could grab three 24kgs with 1 arm and hold on. 2 finger chins and 220lb cleans. Insanely strong all around... great job!

Chris, I am curious, when you take these breaks from posting your workouts here, do you also stop training in real life?? Or do you keep training and just don't bother posting it here?

Hello Arturo,

I always train mate, but i'm bi polar and sometimes not very well , i need to go to hospital.I know at sounds dumb but i forget to go on the computer !!

My wife has told me to keep training on grip and that i'm better when doing so.

Don't mean to frighten anybody or anything , i'm still alright to talk to!!

Feb 2nd Tuesday 2011

Tale top curls... up to 154lbs , left and right hands. Started doing these today after watching armwrestling videos.Really enjoyed doing them.

Wrist curls using Rolling Thunder handle... up to 132lb for 10 reps

Lever lifting, weaver front and back.

Block lifting ... cleans and snatches with 55lb block.

Bending... 3 X m8 bolts 150mm , M8 130mm. Have not got a clue what im doing but enjoyed all the same.

Grippers.. Trainer x 10 each hand , No3 x 3 , No3.5 , RB 300 X 5 singles , No3 x 5 singles no set, all left and right hand.

Just want to share with you that your not alone, not feeling well all the time, man.. I took my injection against psychosis, today..! :calm

Would be cool if you (or your son) starts uploading some feats of strength from you again. An Inch clean and jerk would be nice, hehehe.

Thanks Arturo and Terry,

I've set myself some goals for the year , just something to keep focussed on.

I love reading about the pro arm wrestlers and their amazing hand and arm strength.

So, im going to try and emulate some of their feats with weights.(obviously not in arm wrestling, they would tear my arms off !!).

One of my favorites being Voevoda (what an athlete!!) and the best armwrestler (in my opinion)John Brzenk.

Voevodas best one arm row is 180kg (about 400lb !!) and one arm table top curl with 115kg (about 255lbs!) , so i'm

going to try and get somewhere near that this year.

I did try a cheat curl with 145kg the other day with a 2" barbell , managed to get it up , with emphasis on the cheat !!

My son videoed it so i'll ask him to put it on youtube with some other stuff.

What a BEAST !!! I love your videos.

The way he catches 100 kilos on the way down from the clean, so casually... wow, one must be strong to be able to do that!!!

I was always curious. How big are your hands? and would you ever consider competing in the mighty mitts or vise grip viking challenge

Hi Handgripperman,

My hands are about 7 and 3/4 inches.

I would love to compete, but theres no way i could afford it at the moment.

But i wish all the guys from the gripboard all the best and hope they come home with the trophies.
