I have watched all those fantastic videos this WE. Strong stuff Man ! MM2 is really not kind with you!! Nevertheless, it's nearly closed. Keep on delivering strong crush on it. :mosher

Kettlebell bottom up presses impressed me a lot (32 kg!!) I'am only able to do it with half this poundage. Snif!

Balance is the secret for the Kb Bup presses...work the balance and the kilos will follow.

GRIPPERS:

After a good warmup with my #2, a couple of singles with my #2.5 both hands and then 5 singles for my RH with my #3 and five singles for my LH again with my #2.5.

The problem here is that I can't calibrate my grippers and I don't know where exactly am I.

I mean I don't know if my #3 is an '"easy" #3 or a "hard" one and that problems me for all my work grippers. It looks like you put plates on the bar for Squats , for example , that don't write the poundage and you don't have a scale to weight them!! How much do you Squat...??... Thats how I feel about my gripper training!

(I'll post this as a topic and hear some opinions).

GRIP:

I made a mistake and played with the grippers at home on weekend closing my #3 for several times

and doing negatives with my #3.5. As a result my hands were off for Mondays workout. I only

managed to hit 4 sets of 3 singles with my RB260 for right and RB240 for left.

Then I tried my MM1 replica with no luck of course!!

160(353) x3 It felt like I could to do one more rep but my shoulders didn't follow.

I guess they didn't recuperate from Mondays Push Presses and Wednesdays Snatches.

GRIPPERS:

RH: Some warm up closes with my #2, four singles with my RB240 and one close with my BBGM.

Then I did some attempts with my 5/8' BBGM needed about 1cm to touch the handles.

LH: Same warmup and then singles with my RB240.

That gripper kicked my ass this morning. Three attempts, three misses.

I was very close but these 2 last mms stopped me there.

Do me a favor and kick that grippers ass for me my friend.

You'll have to do it first, Dear !

Just a thinking : do you have a filled gripper, let say a COC 2.5 or a COC 3 ? If you have troubles with the last mm, it may be good to train with a filled gripper and really focus on those last mm. Also, working explosively with a choker on a harder gripper would help. In my opinion, filled gripper would be better because you still have to set the gripper which is also important to master. I know there will be few workouts before MM1 knocks at your door but this may help... Stay angry !! :angry:

19/11/2009 (Morning)

MM1 CERTIFICATION:

3 attempts - 3 misses at the last 2mm.

From the first attempt I was sure I closed it! I felt so confident that for a moment I

decided not to continue with the rest two attempts but I changed my mind and did them to

be more sure...!! After the three attempts time to check the video... I can't describe

the disappointment I felt. I was so ungry and so upset at the same time...I was above the

spring(!!) and I did'n bent over to drink water!! All crushes stoped at 2mm...That gripper

fooled me but things will be different.

(Afternoon)

Despite my disappointment I cleared my mind, reset some goals and hit the gym...

I think you're next...watch out the last 2mm and give that gripper a lesson!

I have changed my training routine a little bit and I will train only with MM2 replica and BBE for the next 2 weeks, 4 to 5 times, small workouts (warmup + 3 attempts). I know that I will not get stronger in 2 weeks but I need to be focused and be able to make a good video (I videotape each attempt). I don't want to let any chance to the MM1!
