Whew! That #2.5 is a freaking doozy. You're capable of closing some easy (@145lb) #3s right now. I know the difference is about 10lbs, but like Jason Payne found out, closing the wider #2.5s is as hard as closing a 2.75" easy #3. Great job man!

I'm going to put you on the spot. Where's the bending? :D I thought you were going to use that program I sent you.

Ben dont worry im definately going to be using the program , right now just trying to focus a bit more on grip and lifting, but ill be bending in the near future thats for sure

weighed in at 167 lbs today

signed up to go back to my local college, I checked out the free gym, there is an olympic stand with bumber plates and a really nice rotating bar, all kinds of equipment that is top notch, swimming pool etc, this is gonna be worth it having all this new equipment to train with

feeling much stronger on the incline then before!!! :)

last nite me and a couple friends did chicago polar bear club, jumped into lake michigan, it was 36 outside the worst part was running on the snow

Steve...I just read the last several pages of your log here and it is a superb record of full body progress. Excellent total body strength for someone 167 lbs.

Very good pinching strength and from what I read here, I don't think it will be long before you achieve a full DL of the Blob50 which is awesome for someone with your hand size !

I like all the farmer's walks and that's something I have to start doing as well.

In my journal a few months ago you mentioned that you might get Lifeline Tubing. Did you ever get some? I'd like to compare it to my Gold's Gym stuff from Walmart. (I combine tubing from several of their short series expander to make one useful for men)

Going back to school is a decision you won't regret. Which local college are you going to ?

My main goal right now is to get 500 lbs on the Deadlift , but im guessing its gonna be a while before that happens

Thanks Neil, THe Farmers is a great workout id suggest doing atleast one session per week with the Farmers

havent gotten the tubing yet but im definately planning on it, ive seen the Golds Gym tubing at Walmart yesterday actually :) thought about getting it but I think im gonna go with the lifeline tubing actually..

Right now signed up at Harper College, gonna finish my degree in Architechtural Engineering

got the Holle it up dumbell handle out 2.5"

in my opinion the solid one from Ironmind is harder than the offcenter one I have thats not solid, maybe its just me

worked up to 130 lbs R ( only about knee hegiht) and L hand

grippers( havent touched them in a while , hopefully I can get a session in this week to see where Im at though)

let me tell you what a great workout, pretty much started with 50 lbs x 3 and then kept adding weight here

also got a Lat pulldown machine finally a used one from my friend, havent used one in a long time, great piece of equipment to those of you that have never used the pull down machine

worked up to about 130 lbs on this one

115 dumbell 2 " handle Deadlift x 2, 2, 1

got this long shaped dumbell very hard to lift

managed to clean it Righty with the regular handle , felt very awkward, but this will be the goal dumbell to Clean with the 2" adapter handle for the Spring/Summer

50 lbs Dumbells Farmers walks -

lately been getting stronger on Triceps movements , probably because ive stopped doing Bench Presses so much

last nite, lots of work with my avg coc #2

singles etc... both R and L

couldnt get the 2.5 or the 136.2 hard 2.5 today

came close a bunch of times, seem to be a weaker on the grippers rite now

then onto the 2" axle deadlifts from below knee

chalk didnt seem to help any with the axle

and the X3 feels a bit easier than my average # 2.5coc
