New Log On The Quest For The Number 4!

Recommended Posts

Screwed with my york 50 blob today, did a bunch of holds and negs. Hit a big pr in holding it without any assistance from the other hand with a slight tilt for about 6 seconds. Got about an inch of air with it too.

You're a freaking animal Wes!!! Nice PR! Geez... never ceasing to amaze.

Thanks Greg and Teemu-

Did grippers today, but wasn't really feeling it

Warmup, Filed #3 for 4 paralell reps

Filed #3, 7 paralell reps

Filed #3, 7 ""

Hard dud x 3 singles

2 SE attempts, was pretty sorry, best was a 1/4, mabye a hair less

Feeling kind of nostalgic, so I did some #4 negatives. First couple held it at the 1/8'' mark for a couple seconds. Didn't count the total, but it was quite a few.

Tried doing some wrist curls with an oly bar (135) but these hurt my wrists like a mother. From now on it's behind the back WCs. Did 135x10, 155x10, 155x10 but didn't finish because I had to go into town. I'll do them again tomm.

Are the behind-the-back WC's working the same muscles as a regular WC? .. Because they also hurt like hell to me, but I have not tried them behind my back! Now I'm curious.

If regular wrist curls hurt, you should experiment with different hand positions on the bar: wider hand positioning could help. Give it a try.

Thanks for the advice Teemu, but they are still preetty painful., Did a bunch of the BTB WC's top set was 185x10, supersetted them with rebverse curls, wrist rolling on a 2.5'' pipe (weight was 70 lbs, distnace rolled was around 8 feet high). Sorry about the bad typing, but my hands are shaking too much (I'm not kidding :blink ). Forearms measured at 15.5'' goosed and pumped

Forgot to mention that a damn pigmy rattlesnake crawled out of my axle when I was moving crap around :blink

The last time I asked you, you were 3/8" off from the #4 I think. You were not closing the BBSE then.

How close are you on the #4 now? If you try it when fresh in the next couple of days, please let us know! =)
