Great bending Aaron! I knew you had 100 times more than enough strength for the Edgin. You could probably do a 6" Edgin right now if you wanted to. The .358 Drill Rod is excellent too.

left palm feels a bit bruised up from the drill rod. last 1/2" on it was a bear. got the multi-piece one and the drillrod on tape.

How much could you bench in college?

Honestly don't know. Other than in some fitness tests the coach would not let me bench in college. He said it tightened up my upper body too much and would hurt my radius on the hammer throw. I could do over 20reps with 225 in the fitness tests though. I got 405 as a junior in HS and 550 after college if that means anything.

honk: I don't think he trains pull-ups very hard. If you read older posts in this log, he was doing like 16 @ 260 ... well, it's fair to assume he lost some strength along with those 30lbs he has lost, I guess, but I didn't think so, since the "Velocity Diet" he did supossedly lets you maintain most of your strength.

What is harder for you, the 225x8 you did on the incline bench, or the #4x15 on chest crushing?

What is harder for you, the 225x8 you did on the incline bench, or the #4x15 on chest crushing?

Definately the #4, mostly on my hands. I actually started using crushdown pads on that beast awhile back. It still bruises my left palm. one of these days they will toughen up enough, just not anytime soon. I only do it for the bending though.
