mobsterone
We should talk about the European Grip Championships in this thread - not about divergent interests in the gripscene. So stop spamming this thread with offtopic things and open a new thread Thorsten! On several occasions (in discussions with Mikeal and youself) you have stated that you are nothing more than the messenger and not the organizer of the Euros so have little or not say in what goes on. But you are, as we are both aware, party to the division. Now I (THATS' ME NOT MOSER) as responsible for the slightly off-topic (yet still about this years Euro 06 event) debate. So here's what you'll do. YOU WILL WORK TOWARDS A BETTER EUROS NEXT YEAR TOGETHER WITH MOSER. I will not, for whatever that means, see your personal differences and dislike of any other individual color your reactions here. I have met you and you seem like a nice guy so set aside your dislikes and get with the plan. Start by passing on the message to anyone else in the 'we don't like Moser' camp. burkhardmacht
YOU WILL WORK TOWARDS A BETTER EUROS NEXT YEAR TOGETHER WITH MOSER. We have two guys who are organizing grip comps in Germany - they should talk first with each other. But that's not my job to arrange this. The next Euros should be in England, Holland or Swiss. Start by passing on the message to anyone else in the 'we don't like Moser' camp. There's no need to I think.... I hope this thread is now open again for a more constructive discussion, thanks. Alexander
Well, i worked with my dad in the forest and i squeezed my small finger between two big pieces of wood. I hope it will heal fast but i am going to continue to train with my left hand

Martin_Arildsson
Grippers has arrived, and it's not that long time left! Who is coming except for the competitors? EDIT: Just read the thread again and I haven't seen anything about weight calibration (for WR attempts) and nothing about coef / scoring). Florian Kellersmann
Hermann Korte told me that he has calibrated plates for the competition. I'm sure, there will be some grip fans in the audience

I guess he means calibrated competition plates, no list is needed. If he likes, Mikael can contact him. Don't know about the scoring. I never was really into the rule-stuff. Mikael Siversson
I guess he means calibrated competition plates, no list is needed. If he likes, Mikael can contact him. No need for calibration if certified competition plates are used (e.g. Eleiko's competition line). If Korte has weighed uncalibrated weights then he need to contact me about the details like the other organizers have done, assuming he is interested in having records made official by the inventors of the two standardised events (i.e. me and David Horne). I am spending enough time as it is on updating record lists etc. I can live without records being officially recognised at the Europeans so it will be up to the competitors to ask Korte nicely to provide the GripBoard with calibration details (assuming that non-certified plates are used) well before the contest takes place. Mikael Siversson
Perhaps they will use the plates Frank Henritzi calibrated. That would be good.

I have a quite nasty skin tear in my left hand that hasn't healed yet, so I haven't been able to train v-bar the last weeks.
