underdawg
Wed. 8/31/05 I was taking care of the young'un, who didn't feel too good. When he went down for a nap I decided to do some light cable pulling and gripper closes. Trying to save a little energy for this weekend at Dave's. underdawg
Thanks BigT, now to get the blasted thing the rest of the way. Fri. 9/2/05 Did a little sled pulling/dragging today. Nothing special, want to save strength for the GGC prep at Dave's tomorrow. Sat. 9/3/05 GGC practice at Dave's. Got the "hard 3" righty and the "easy 3" lefty in grippers. Pulled 200 in the pinch. Sucked it up on the V-bar, don't even remember what I did, maybe 220 or so. Hit 170 on the RT. Held 210 on 2" FW handles for 43 seconds. Levered a 12lb. hammer for a couple of reps, but couldn't get the 17 pounder (5 lb. plate duct taped on the 12 pounder).

pdoire
Hey Jonathan, Nice try with that Elite! Whats the spread and spring mount on that bad boy!! How do you rate it versus the MM1 and MM2? Edited September 6, 2005 by pdoire
underdawg
Thanks Paul. The spread's 3", and it is mounted very deep. It's a good bit tougher than the MM1. It's very close to Dave's Elite, which he said was a little bit harder than the MM2.

So I get in position and ease my legs up until I'm upside-down. I hold steady for several seconds, but then I start to wobble. Realizing that if I go over backwards I'm gonna land on bare concrete I start trying my best to go down feet first. All this does is cause me to spin (yes I'm still on my head), and then crash down on my back a little too close to a stack of 25's and my loading pin. I just laughed it off and went back to work. Then I go to my parent's later and slip and fall down their basement stairs. Luckily I held onto the stair rail and stopped myself before I went too far, but I banged up me elbow pretty good. I was a huge clutz yesterday for some reason.
