John McCarter Posted February 9 Share Posted February 9 I'm creating this thread for a few reasons. 1) So, we as members don't take away from other threads, or, have said threads get shut down. 2) If something needs to be questioned, we can look at it with critical eyes. 3) Look at any extraordinaire claims presented with a healthy dose of skepticism. 4) To be able to question anything if something presented as "real" might be in fact, fake. Nobody called you out over your inch lifts lately from what I can tell and you are the only one to mention them. There may also be gaps in the spring coil on Warren Tetting gripper or silver springs on CoC or GHP. We did Grippers, Saxon, Axle, and some other stuff. For grippers I attempted his 214 GE shortly after I closed a 206 4. The 214 is the same one Tiziano attempted in that video. Neither me or Carl noticed anything wrong with it, same spring, same spread, stamps are correct. climber511 Posted February 12 Share Posted February 12 I'm not much on the technology end of things but all this was kind of predicted way back in the day when all we had sometimes was a "photograph" . As the ability to edit or create video becomes greater and greater the ability to make it look like something happened that really did not is going o be a bigger and bigger issue.
