Put a new floor in my workout shed. Figured lugging all my wieghts outside and back in was plenty of workout for today!

Did you happen to put down the rubber mat they sell for horse stalls Sean? I'm procrastinating on rehauling my mini weight room but this is what I plan to do eventually.

Jon, that's exactly what I used. Livestock mats are 3/4" thick and cheap compared to what a fitness store will charge you.

Great work on the blob Sean. Your next video better be a thumb/pinky lift of it :bow My buddy just finished melting the lead in my blobette, so I've got some room to add shot now. I believe it was in the 55 range before so I'm hoping to get it over 60lbs.

We'll see what happens, Morgan. 55 lbs on the Blob is a very good lift. 60 is really out there. I think only Wade and Sorin have done more.

My wife and I took a trip out to Missouri to look at some dogs. During the 14 hours of drive time, I had a little time to think about my training. I'm going to do an experiment. No grippers for 5 months. I'll keep working the thickbar and the pinching, then take 2 weeks and test where I'm at on grippers. Should be an interesting experiment. Should give some data on the carryover effects of thickbar and pinching to grippers. And more importantly it gives me an excuse to leave grippers alone for a long time and concentrate on my favorite parts of grip...

Sean, I scanned your report on bloberfest but I don't recall your results for the 3" bar lifts etc. did you posts these in your training log and I just don't see them??

Jonathan, I cleaned 170 on the 3" bar, cleaned 100 on the 2.5 db, and snatched 90 on the 2.5 db. Big news of the day tho' was a Double 50 Blob clean and press.
